Crafting is still in horrible state. IF you are not playing SSF it is cheaper to buy decent gear for campaign and endgame than it is to craft it yourself. Even with all curent additions. It is cheaper to just buy 600 dps talisman, by this time mediocre gear can be acquired for 10 exalt especially if you just started and crafting is left for min maxing or insane dps if you want to blast through campaign its going cost you 10 exalt vs 100+ exalt if you actually rng craft it with all the omens and essences yourself. This applies to any class. Spend 15 exalt for a body armour with 70 life 60% total resistance and probably a low roll of evasion/armour/energy shield and the same thig will cost 1 Alchemy on trade

I spent 300 div yesterday trying to get tier 1 flat damage on a crossbow, through the desecrat ancient jawbone.
In all my attempts, I saw 1-2 T2 flat damage. 1 time flat cold, 1 time flat physical. and have never seen T1 flat
Talking about bad luck is stupid. What kind of bad luck is 300 div?
The funniest thing is that we're not talking about some top-tier craft. I just didn't believe that this could happen.

Then I started crying. And I don't want to see this league again. They were so proud of the "other" crafting system. Who made such stupid settings and why?

You shouldn't do that, its cheaper to hit it with greater/perfect exalt prefix slam (omen for double exalt if you need) for 300 div budget and you still will have divines left. You can craft all t1 prefixes with 300 div budget without fracture, so you have lets say +7 all proj suffix fractured, and you have just a cheap preserved jawbone for crit chance/attack speed suffix unveil to finish the item.

Ancient jawbone + omen of light are too expensive for 100 weight prefix unless you are rich like Fubgun or Jenebu and have unlimited currency/attempts. Its less than 30 attempts to hit for 300 div budget, very unlikely. I doubt you would hit it even with 1000 divines. And check craft of exile before doing anything first, to see if you have chances at all for your budget. Also you can sell somewhat useable t1 t2 t2 unlucky hits to break even.

EDIT: limit map juicing to get unlimited temple juicing, i recognize these guys xdddd Like what? And of course you cannot call things the correct words, if you call it exploit, you have to ban people, thats why you stay silent and pretend nothing happened

Several hotfix updates with +40 pages? This issue isn't going away folks. People are mad, leaving the game, review bombing the game and for a good reason. This sets a dangerous precedent if those accountable aren't banned, even if temporarily. Earlier they banned 301 people for the Ritual exploit, why isn't there more actions done this time?

This is also GGG's fault for not addressing it correctly. They were extremely slow, did too little way too late and now everything is crooked.

Ban the perpetrators. Do a league reset. 0.5 can't come soon enough.
all the rich people on board, now you closed the door.
Unless it's 12 crystals on T15 6 mods, it's a dead league.

Lucky, unlucky... 300 div in the trash.
I can't agree that this is simply very unlikely. 10 tries is enough to talk about lucky or unlucky.
For 60 attempts. (30 Ancient jawbones + reroll) 0 T1 flat damage modifiers.
I guess I'm assuming there's something wrong with the settings of this "new, more understandable crafting system."
No one in their right mind, except for fans of the game, will sit and figure out what's wrong. They simply won't play.
By the way, in the previous league, this craft cost 20 DIV at peak.
And let me remind you. We're not talking about crafting in general, but only about one prefix.

Even though I'm not a newbie, I've kind of lost the desire to play this league anymore. I think many people would have.
Although at this stage of the game, it's not that big a loss for me. Playing a few hours a day, I could have farmed those 300 div in a week, just chilling out.
But somehow, all the desire has disappeared.

Dont let bad beat upset you, shit happens with craft all the time
There must also be consequences for people who exploit such things and destroy the market. After all, they are ruining the league for almost everyone. I propose deleting all season characters belonging to people who have spent a lot of time in Holsten during the season. In other games, people are also punished. This must also be the case here so that such things do not happen again. Everyone who took advantage of the situation knows that they were wrong. No mercy, only harsh penalties are appropriate.
Is the problem solved? For the poor it is.
For the rich who already completed their 'snake' temple in holsten, No, they can just collect crystals on T1 maps or whatever and continue to print divines.

So for the exploiters they can continue what they were doing, for everyone else there are 3 options:
1. play the game with everything cost 5-10-20 times more than days before
2. Play in SSF
3. find another game
if GGG doesnt want ban, they should put all exploiters with all stashes to SSF League. Viola

This league is cooked

Yup. GGG Waited way too long to do something, and with their IN-ACTION to punish the exploiters, most casuals (like myself), will be skipping this league and NOT be buying a supporter pack next season. Only person to blame is themselves. If no accountability occurs then why support such a company?

Exactly, they could have block disabled the temple for a few days to stop it and it wouldn't be that bad. Reset the temple it's only a minority of them who got the temple build up legitly. Since nobody does temple right?

Wait till they are back they can patch it balance it whatever they want. But nope they take their sweet damn time to let the league burn and be like "eh you can't win everyone".

You raise a good question where is the accountability for GGG and the exploiters? Nothing

What does that tell the players? Be exploiting be quick and often.

Their excuses of we don't do mid league changes is BS at best.

I built my tample with sweat and tears, running juiced T15s from day one. It has 30ish rooms and gives me about 5-10 divines per run, I am having a blast, rly enjoying the mechanic, and you want to punish some1 like me?

Ok, so i tried to see how this "scales with tier and modifiers" works by running a 16 irradiated, +1, 6mod map. effectively a t18. It still only gives 2 crystals...

Either the implementation of this hotfix is incorrect, or it was never meant to 'scale' the crystal count with difficulty.

If a t16 6mod gave 6+ crystals, that could actually help with inflation a bit as it would create a small exalt sink too.

Requires an 8 mod t15+ (can be t14 with iridium for instance), not at 6 mod T16.

You can get two from a tier 8 6 mod, but no lower.

Sometimes you just have to try things and figure it out.

I did try 8 mod t15 as well. ive tried just about every combo with mods and maps and the max crystal count you get is 2. when the patch says "scales with tier and modifiers", and all it is is flat +1 to crystal count, There is no scaling at all.

I am not a native speaker of English, but this is Crystal (no pun intended) clear from their post

Map Areas now grant additional Energized Crystals, scaling with Map Tier and number of Modifiers. This results in double the number of temple runs you can do when using 6-mod Tier 15 maps.

it DOUBLES the crystals at max T15 6-mod, thats all

I think it is kinda linear in a random way tho, I tried running some T14s with 4 mods and I would get 2 crystals almost all the time, but some runs I would get 1, so my guess is that you get like 1.9 or something crystals, that gets rolled into RNG to decide if you get 1 or 2 (with 90% hit hate)
