Sorceress Comet causes GPU driver timeout

Sorry to hear that. Many of us own a similar AMD setup and unfortunately are facing to the same situation. Not improvements have been done at the moment for fixing this issue.

The most efficient way to avoid these crashes is to rollback on drivers flavor Adrenaline 25.9.2 available here : https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/release-notes/RN-RAD-WIN-25-9-2.html

Some of us facing this issue have been able to mitigate it by using the Abyssal comet MTX. (I did not test this fix.)

I have 500 + hours on my Poison Pathfinder level 98 and not a single freeze or crash during all 500 + hours. Yesterday i switch to my CoC blood mage level 65 and i have at least 3 freezes per map + occasional complete game crash. Also to note i leveled up to 65 as Essence drain Lich and also had zero crashes or freezes.

GGG take a look if there is some corrupted, busted spells code. Reading on this forum it most likely has something to do with Comet skill + AMD Radeon drivers. Don't know what else could it be, since on one class i have no issue what so ever and on another complete fiesta with freezes and crashes. And i play on same settings all the time.

I play all the time on directx 12 + FSR + Balanced and all setting on high.
Ryzen 7500f, Rx 7800 XT , 32gb RAM.
