I'm Currently level 94 and not found any Citadel

I feel like with every new league they nerf the spawn rate of citadels, and then with patch 0.x.1 they buff it again..

The farther you move from the beginning the more citadels you'll get

I had the same issue up until just now. A citadel's beam of light just magically appeared where it 100% wasn't present in the fog just a few minutes ago, right after destroying a corruption hub. Seems that can at least sometime un-break the altas's ability to spawn them.

The "farther you move" stuff is bullshit. If the map is broken then they won't appear at any distance, so you have to un-break it first.

Since i dreaded not finding citadels as It happened to me in 0.2.0, from start of mapping I decided to go almost straight in one direction (closest corruption), unlocking towers on the way for some vision so I don't miss out on those beams in the fog. Now, lv 90, probably 40 hours in endgame, just under 100 maps and almost 20 towers in, I've yet to find a single citadel. I will do a couple of more towers along the same line, if there isn't a citadel cluster yet by then I will quit until 0.5.0. Any other problems I had in 0.4.0 (including a crash every 2nd instance load i.e) pale in comparison me not getting to engage with citadels at all.

I haven't found a Citadel since 0.2, so that's cool, I guess.

600 hours, btw, and I path straight in mapping 99% of the time instead of sticking near the starting point. The refusal to change this system yet makes absolutely no sense to me.

One tick, from lvl 90, and no citadels. I have pathed in as large a circumference, as I could.
