false “cheating software detected” warning after 0.4 can this lead to a ban? GGG not helpful
" Most companies don't insta block, they collect data and ban in waves. This prevents people from figuring out how they detected them. Also, they won't tell you any information because 1. They don't have access to your individual date (support). and 2. Even if they did, they would not tell you for the reasons mentions above. |

Game is server sided... not going to be doing much with cheat engine. You sound like a botter.

" Maybe because with your broken English you sound like a gold seller fishing for information. |

I tried looking for it, I just don't entirely know what I'm doing. I verified on Steam and haven't seen the message since.

I just woke up wanting to continue playing poe2 and now I got this warning.
I did not restart my PC, I did not install anything, I did not even open any new program. Literally exactly the same as a few hours ago on league start. I don't even run any poe2 addons (like awakened or so). Also no ultrawide patch (as some people claimed makes problems), no reshade filters, not even custom filterblade. What am I supposed to do now? " Okay so I've been having this problem after my harddrive got full and I had to delete a bunch of things, including part of the PoE 2 shader cache. Also maybe completely coincidentally I uninstalled League of Legends and Riot Vanguard before the patch, so idk if that did anything. I'm not running any mods either, no edits to the game at all. The fix that worked for me is this: First, verify the integrity of your game cache if you're using Steam. Then save any item filter(s) you're using somewhere else, then delete your entire contents of the "Documents\My Games\Path of Exile 2" folder. Start up PoE 2, it will remake the folders and files, then paste in your item filters (only your item filters, nothing else) from before. Restart your computer and you should be good to go. The only downside is that you have to go in and change all your settings again, graphics, UI, Game, Audio, and Input. Last edited by feildpaint#3720 on May 31, 2026, 3:49:14 AM
