Flame Breath Wyvern Attack does not work with mouse click to move

BUMP Still not fixed after 1 month
Having stumbled upon this issue myself just now, I came up with a solution that works well enough for now. Bumbling around with it damn near got me killed more than once.

I set my skill hotkeys to the following using mouse/keyboard (not WASD):
Mouse: L-M-R buttons
Keys: W-A-S-D-E
L-M-R are my Rend, Oil Barrage, and Wing Blast
W is bound to Flame Breath
E is bound to the "Move" skill
A is generally movement (Devour)
S is generally a totem/misc
D is empty misc

Hold W to channel Flame Breath, and while held tap E to move towards the cursor. Cannot hold both W and E to follow the cursor naturally as it moves. Cannot hold E while channeling Flame Breath.

It would be great if I could simply channel the Flame Breath skill and have it follow the mouse cursor as though it was also simultaneously the "Move only" skill. Skills that need to move should just bloody well follow the cursor.. you know.. move.

(I don't generally click to move and was always annoyed by a desire to move requiring a skill slot for "Move only" instead of just being a simple keybinding.)

So first I will say, cool design! I love flame breath and have put everything into my character to make the build work..

However..... Flame Breath does NOT work with click to move (regular keyboard/mouse), because when you try to move while holding down flame breat it just cancels the animation/skill and resets cooldown.
This is usually when trying to turn or change direction, but can also happen while going in a straight line.
It almost felt like "move only" on my left click counts as an input that cancels the skill I am holding down on keyboard since mouse takes presedence over keyboard. (At least this is how it felt)

I also tested this with WASD and there were no problems what so ever, everything worked just as it should.
But I don't like playing WASD or controller.

To emphasize:
This skill does not work what so ever with click to move/regular mouse/keyboard. You cannot control the wyvern in air without cancelling the Flame Breath skill, making it completely useless...

So please fix this ASAP as my whole character is build around this build.... :/

You mean 5 months............ and you will have to wait for 6 months until the next patch at least...
Hope it's fixed by then, otherwise I will bump this topic every day from 0.5 until fix... (or until I get tired of it)
You know, if they added to a skill window like they do with weapon set I/II to enable WASD with this skill, it would fix this issue. Though I doubt that's the goal here. It doesn't make a lot of sense that you can't hold the skill and click move.

Yeah, that wouldn't fix the issue at all.. it would just force us to use wasd anyway with that skill? xD
And what we don't want is to use wasd, especially since the keys are used for other hotkeys...

This is a true story, no shit..

Yesterday I woke up after having dreamt of this issue being fixed..
My 0.5 plans are getting to finally try flame breath on an underplayed ascendancy (which I won't spoil), so in my dream I had made this character and finally unlocked flame breath at 52 (or whatever level) and I remember thinking inside of the dream: "nice, I can play it!".. sadly I woke up right after trying the skill.. I did however get the feeling of moving with it..

Actually not even a joke or made up.. that's how I woke up yesterday, one day before reveal which just made me even more excited :D

I really hope it will be fixed for 0.5 !! I want to play with it!

If any devs read this, can we get an update to whether or not it has been fixed or not? :)
Just wondering if this reported bug ever got fixed. I read through the whole thread and it looks like it still hasn’t, even though a GGG employee replied back in January saying they were looking into it. If this somehow got fixed, please someone let me know — I really want to give Wyvern Druid another shot in 0.5.
