Aaaaaand Uninstalled

I wasn't really feeling the excitement around druid and I quickly got reminded that even after I suffer through another league start, the end game will disappoint me. The campaign is actually the only reason to play the game. Done with GGG and the hype trains streamers are paid to amp it up.

It is getting rather obvious the fishing mechanic was this bait and switch
“In all the realms of heaven and in all the realms of hell I alone am heralded as the honored one, who am I?”
Super boring. Druid is terrible if you're not a new player. Other classes were nerfed as usual to force you to try druid or spend another X days figuring out how to make your character work again.

I uninstalled as well. Too many other games I'm into to care. Already pushed 3 characters past 95 and did all the content.. just tired of re-playing things I've already played because GGG can't make up their mind with builds/characters.
Thanks for your opinion, helped me with keeping it uninstalled and back to enjoying Project Diablo 2 and og PoE.
Some demons can only be cast out through prayer and fasting.
I hate the campaign. playing thru it is torture. One-shot bosses, utterly imbalanced difficulty spikes, ridiculous damage against the player way before they have any chance to mitigate.

The philosophy of this dev team seems to be 'shitty is fun'. Everything you do in game is a hassle.

They have really improved the game and it has genre-defining features IMO, but this whole 'suffer, take xp, punish, one-shot fell like a wimp' game design is bad.

There is no power fantasy in this game, no matter how powerful you get, it's one-shots from start to finish. Boring.

Campaign is an absolute slog too. At least D4 has Helltide to mindlessly grind for levels and gear.

It's a decent game that could be great if the 'punishment is fun' thing went away.
Console loot filter for POE2 Please!
druid is great fun but man tis campaign duration and large zones just turn me off. last league campaign took 28 hour to beat, i just cant find motivation to continue.
The campaign is the best part of PoE2 lol
If the campaign is the best part, we're doomed. It's the most dreadful generic fantasy bilge. You spend so much time clicking through almost hilariously bad dialogue, only to be left with a quest objective to talk to some person with a name like someone crapped out a Scrabble set.

Having been through the campaign enough times that I'd need to take my shoes off to count, I'd love a campaign skip. The writing is abysmal and slogging through the same campaign really loses its luster after you've done it a few times. It's forgettable yet not forgettable enough when you have to slog through it the next time. The boredom is real.

Go and talk to Abbskllotlgne, whoever TF they turn out to be, tell them about The Hamster of Mild Inconvenience. Click through ten pages of waffle about how it will bring about The Embiggening Of The Ancient Crevice and only then can you go back to trying to kill stuff. Zzzz. The writing does not drive the story forward, it just goes through the motions in the most stodgy low-effort way.

I took a long break and recently returned, levelled a Lich. I'd forgotten how much clicking through pointless and irrelevant low-quality NPC blather there was in the campaign. It's a sprawling, flabby, unfocused and incoherent mess generally- even by video game standards. Levelling a druid might require either really strong coffee or ritalin.
