Ye me too… but how can they screw the game so badly that it is this big issue now? I can’t imagine.. when they broke it so abruptly, they can undo or fix that quick also, in my opinion. it’s lines of code ffs. I think there are few people working. Everyone went for holiday after launch probably and minimum of workforce is available.
But many affected people = less people playing and that = less money spent on max and stuff…
The problem already existed in version 0.3 with the DirectX 12 renderer. I could live with it then because I could switch to Vulkan, where the problem didn't occur. Since Vulkan no longer works for me in version 0.4, only DirectX 11 remains, and it lags so badly that it's unplayable. If you look at the individual renderers in the graphs, you can clearly see why this problem exists in DirectX 12 but not in the other renderers. It's due to a VRAM limitation, and since they haven't fixed this problem since version 0.3, I assume they don't know how. Since not everyone is affected, I suspect it primarily affects people with integrated graphics without dedicated VRAM. As for me, I'm done with this game for now. I don't believe in a quick fix, if one even comes. My time is too precious to waste on a poorly programmed game.

Well i was spared from that on directX12 last leuagues. Now even Vulkan is no Option for me because game crushes to 2fps and then error with not enough memory occurs and game crash all together.
And directX11 like u said horrible performance, unplayable.
So it seems to that the problem is with game no matter what renderer chosen. The game is working on xbox series s very good? Doenst series s have shard memory?
