I can clearly see why you are the last of the original bunch that stayed.

I was wondering how I could balance the reading I wanted to do and PoE leagues, not to mention 1 or 2 other games I wanted to wave into the mix.

By making the campaign of PoE2 such a god damn drag, you made a 2 month cycle magically extend to 4 months.

In all seriousness, the campaign is barrable... with a premium build. Anything else, it is a nightmare.

So bb PoE2, maybe we'll meet again when you start making some sense, because I can't see anyone playing this type of campaign half as long as PoE1's been tolerated.

Game not finished yet, the campaign is more fun as in PoE 1, even if it is a drag and is pure RNG to get good equipment. I wish they would give us similar determinstic possibilities as in PoE 1 as much as a level system for gems and buyable support gems which are bought with transmutes and not with gold.

But otherwise it is more interesting and fun as PoE 1 after thousands of hours invested.

every part of the league is good. Doing campaign is part of it. The feeling of overcoming it, bad itens selling for exalts or even divs. Doing a good start is a different skill from doing a good endgame build. Its part of the game.

In poe1 campaign is indeed a chore, its boring, because its easy and made for you to dash to the end skipping everything. This one is fun to play, just enjoy the ride. Skipping to endgame would take half the fun. D

Go do a play through in ssf then tell us how amazing the acts are. Also make sure your not using the few meta op skills. Play the game as a casual and see how far you get.

Is warrior considered meta? Just asking cause they are atm the leading people on the ladder...

In 0.3, I beat the SSF Abyssal campaign with a Monk, Ritualist and Pathfinder. Monk and Pathfinder were both melee, Ritualist was ranged poison. Fun every time.

Why do you feel the need to speak for everyone? It's enough to speak for yourself. I'm not going to insist that you had a good time just because I did.
Evasion-only melee character that can kill Ubers with cheap gear (SSF Rise of the Abyssal), no armor, no energy shield, 62k eHP:

Nice comments, well at least the ones without the "door smack" and "git gud" stupidities.

The thing is, I like the game, but getting through the campaign is a trial of nerves.

In an ARPG, the campaign is a tutorial - but this one teaches you nothing. The endgame, if you build correctly, is nothing like the campaign.

If I want the gameplay of the campaign being offered here, I'll go play No Rest for the Wicked (a great game, but it is what it advertises itself to be, not not an arpg in disguise).

I really wish every1 who enjoys this the best of times.
