Omen of Homogenising Exaltation removed

Crafting was so good this league... I can't believe they want to nerf it. It still required more omens and they decided to delete the most valued one...
This decision is clearly homophobic! Last edited by barczik#9534 on Dec 5, 2025, 10:24:22 AM

I really liked the 0.3.0 league, mainly because of the crafting options it offered, rather than the boring mob`s holes in the ground and weak endgame. In this league alone, I crafted more items than I had in the previous 10 years of playing PoE1/2 just because it was interesting this time. Now, the developers are taking away my opportunity to explore the intricacies of item properties and tags, forcing me into a dull game of rolling dice with slamming orbs and dropping item in the trash again or double-vaal with triple-chance of puff item (or dull farming orbs for buying equipment).
What a shame for sure |

this change proves what GGG think about you - "pathetic peasant, did you come here to enjoy the game?" Craft was too expensive, i could afford it for myself after only 3 weeks. They could make it rare, they could make it with 20-50%, and they just decided - naaah removed. And this happens with anything what is "fun"

" Yes. Isn't that a hoot. They could flash an image of a topless 20 years old Drew Barrymore on each parry and it still wouldn't be used. Well ... Maybe i would

If crafting was so strong that players rarely engaged with dropped gear, doesn't that also suggest the real issue is that most loot drops just aren't desirable?
Mark mentioned wanting feedback on T5 rares not being worth picking up. That made me think about how many T5 rares I’ve actually picked up and used. The answer is basically zero. Why? Because for a dropped item to matter, it has to check too many boxes: • It needs the right stats. • It needs to be better than what I already have. • It needs to be the right base for my build. • And if I want to sell it, I have to do a bunch of value checking that often isn’t worth the time. So the problem isn’t just that crafting was good. It’s that drops as a whole outside of currency and bases almost never meet the threshold to be worth picking up at all. I'm not looking for a part time career as a trash loot vendor. |

So sad they removed the Homogenizing Exaltation. THIS MOVE ONLY HURTS THE AVERAGE PLAYER... GGG really needs to stop trying to balance the game for the people that play their game for 12+ hours a day in organized groups of 8+. Yes they will print Mirror Tier items, even without ANY Deterministic crafting they will brute force it until they get whatever they want and do whatever it is they want with it, including selling their items to real money markets. GGG needs to accept this and move on.
This game as well as POE 1 needs to have Deterministic crafting and get away from gambling mechanics. Some level of gambling mechanics is fine for the top of the top gear, but theres no reason the AVERAGE PLAYER cant make above AVERAGE GEAR deterministically. Anyone against this is just trying to gate keep to continue to cook the market in their favor. Deterministic crafting alone, by itself would single handedly create greater appeal of this game and increase their profits across all platforms as normal average people would play the game and be able to gradually progress. Crafting in POE 2 is just like POE 1 and it is convoluted, and overly complicated. Any average player below 1000+ hours of playing will not be printing mirror tier items, nor will they take the time to watch 4 hours worth of videos for their one and only craft attempt to inevitable fail and then never try to craft again. Furthermore, this exact situation is what drives people to real money trading in the first place, they want to play the game, have wasted all their resource gamble crafting, don't have enough time, fail at crafting repeatedly then bam you created the need for this market. Deterministic crafting would cut real money trading down drastically. Homogenizing Exaltation was not strong whatsoever. using the Homogenizing Exaltation omen this passed league as an EXPERIENCED player with a life outside of path of exile I was able to successfully create a SINGLE item worth a whopping 2 divine. Great stuff I know. I was hardly ever able to make anything of value all league and any league before or any any league of poe 1. Nearly every time I tried to craft, it has drained my resources, just purchasing the materials to craft a single item more times than not break the bank for an average player. Repeatedly failing to craft just made me as well as everyone else not willing to buy on real money markets just want to save resources to directly trade for their items, which has caused the need for the in game market to exist in the first place. There needs to be more deterministic crafting Last edited by komji#3796 on Dec 8, 2025, 3:46:14 PM

" This. Even in 0.1 and 0.2 loot was trash so it was better to buy something from the market. But the problem was with 1 div you can buy shiat. So you end the league there.
