The "loss" of 20% damage is what make you say a skill is RIP?. Besides it's not even a 20% loss because you regain damage with the base and shards damage. And you get better chill magnitude and better aoe area, so, how exactly was this nerfed?
Poeple whine and doom too much.

Thats probably a bad thing here. On maps its good, but on boss fights its kinda bad. You dont want a big cone there. In terms of initial damage yeah, its hardly a nerf, more like a pointless shuffle. But maybe im wrong.

Anti Burst boss mechanic is a bone-headed dumb idea. If I build a character to delete bosses, let me. Stupid.
Requiring an arbiter kill to craft tablets beyond 2 affixes, again bone-headed dumb idea. POE is all about freedom. Why are you arbitrarily restricting me.
Druid looks fun as hell.
League looks OK.
Nice buffs to infusions, they were fun last league.
Map completion requirement is still bad. In POE1, when I feel Im done with the map, Im done. In POE2, GGG is telling me when Im done. ??? More examples of you making decisions for me and taking away the freedom.
Still no changes to trials either A) being the gate between your character and its build B) difficulty of 3rd and 4th trial c) Honour system being trash. Trash. Trash. Its health that you cannot regain unless you get lucky with affixes and wells. Trash. Trash.
Probably get 3-4 days out of this league and onto either D4 or Arc Raiders expedition.
ok go play D4, also sanctum trial is perfect, there is no need to change anything in it. Skill issue. Also trials have to give the challenge unlike poe1 trials, which just takes no skill and you go take the ascendancy points without an effort. Map req is killing boss now, not rare monsters, so it is the same as poe1 req. About an arbiter req to kill to unlock something is completely normal as well, in PoE1 you need to do pinnacle bosses to unlock waystones and device slots so again, idk what are you on about.

Trial of SuckMyA$$ is terrible and that's why is called like this by most people.
Trial can and should be challenging but there is a big difference between being chalenging and being annoying piece of crap.
People don't like traps and don't like back-tracking, not to mention honour system, and this piece of $hit is full of this nonsense.
So the middle ground solution is... make it non-mandatory and let people choose how they want to ascend so I can avoid this crap and never see it again in my life and be happy taking other challenging trials to ascend.
