Content Update 0.4.0 — Path of Exile 2: The Last of the Druids

Incinerate did not deserve that. No one was playing it and now even less players will. it's insane.

Passive Tree Changes
Curse Area passive skills on the Passive Tree have been halved, now granting 10% Curse Area of Effect (previously 20%). The Zone of Control Notable skill now grants 20% increased Curse Area of Effect (previously 40%) but also grants 10% increased Curse Magnitudes (previously 8%). The Curse Area small passives on the Lich and Abyssal Lich now grant 15% increased Curse Area (previously 25%).

Skill Changes
Temporal Chains, Elemental Weakness, Enfeeble, Vulnerability, Despair and Inevitable Agony now have lowered radius scaling for Gem Level 20+, increasing by 0.1 metres every 3 levels (previously every level).
These changes are accompanied by a rework to Doedre's Undoing by changing it from scaling off Intelligence to instead scale based on the Supported Curses Level. This opens up the build without having to be Intelligence stacking.

Item Changes
Curse Area of Effect Mods on Jewels have been reduced. Regular Jewels now grant 8-12% Curse Area of Effect (previously 15-25%) and Timeless Jewels now grant 3-6% (previously 6-12%).

Brutal. Guess I'm running curses with vanilla AoE. Between the passives and jewels being halved and the base skills being cut by two-thirds...man thats quite the ball clipping.
Gotta be like 65% less available AoE once it all comes out the wash, what on earth is the rationale here?

Don't say it's the less mobs in end game, the 40% less mobs on the face advertised will be much less in practice since that's just removing a 40% *More* buff from the top end. Hell even ignoring that, with less mobs its going to be harder to hit em with a curse since the density is lower.

Bit of a nasty last second kidney shot for minions especially. Woulda almost understood it if they axed the detonation delay on unsupported normal curses.

They saw Connor playing incinerate on stream and now they nerfing it lol.
Jiminy Christmas, those curse nerfs. I played a Doedre's Undoing Despair abyssal lich in 0.3 and thought it was just OK, so seeing curses get absolutely neutered is crazy.

I assume this is the end of Doedre's Undoing build ? yet another niche build get destroyed. increased curse area of effect is very crucial on this build as it needed to cover the whole screen to be effective. radius from curse itself also nerfed. on top of that Doedre's Undoing itself damage no longer scale on INT and we don't know how new scaling works with curse skill gem level.
Thank you so much GGG for nerfing Doedre's Undoing, a support gem that was hard to scale with Int stacking and even after proper scaling it was at most a mapping build, you just had to touch it. Please start nerfing the stuff that's actually broken and not make barely viable builds even worse.
What is the obsession with killing every fucking fun build in the game?

Incinerate destroyed, doedre wrecked like jesus
"Raise Zombie: Creating a Zombie from a Power Charge now also creates 2 additional non-empowered Zombies."

I played a bit of zombies into maps, unless the non-empowered zombies get automatically overwritten by empowered this is a massive nerf because this makes so you can never have all empowered zombies.
Whos weetbix did Conner piss in lol, rip incinerate. o7
Did you guys buff raise zombie to nerf it again? Cuz im assuming you arent increasing the limit of raised zombies so if thats the case that means im limited to like 4 empowered zombies and 8 regular zombies if the limit is 12... could you please clarify what the limit is, i would love to know.
