Why bolt reload exist?

yes, but I don't really suffer, but rather I'm indignant that one weapon is made more intrusively difficult from point of view of game mechanics.

I suffer more from meaningless conversations with guys without understanding basic things.

You're upset because you have to reload the crossbow; there isn't much to understand. You have to press the button twice, and it's very frustrating for you. Jonathan gave the explanation: it creates a different feeling in the play style, to distinguish it from bows.

as devs say
"it their way of balancing crossbows"
and say nope they just wanted to make crossbows and bow diffrent
bow dont have reload time and 90% of skill are instant
so yeah they just want them to be different so they made this annoying reload mechanic which would even be fine if crossbow skill had many bolts in all skill lets say 20 the bare minimum but nope
95% of skills have 1 bolt and u reload
so in end game
ur wasting one stat in jewels + some passive points and ur Forced to have t1 aspd on ur crossbow to make it playable just because they wanted crossbows to feel different then BowS
NOT TO mention bow are better and have easier access to variety of different stats due to an additional item "quiver"
so in my opinion yeah crossbows have some cool skills and on the other hand

I agree, some aspects of bow should be nerfed.

no, crossbows should be better
bows are good magic spell are good
they should make crossbows work similarly to bows
or make bows have reload speed as well
also all melee weapons shouldn't lock u in place when u atk that is the main reason mace is the least played weapon

yep,seems 2 of ggg need streamer with that message to turn off vision on this thing.
Point out that it's stupid to have extra skills at cost of 1 on skill panel, and if that's the case, then it should be done for every weapon, not just crossbow bullying, replace 1 bolt skills on slow ats, emergency reload cooldown, etc

And btw, some of bows interactions op for sure, especially with frenzy charge usage. Too easy shock, too easy freeze, etc

I quite like the way the crossbow works. Sure it has its quirks, but it does provide a unique playstyle, which makes it different from other weapons. If that's not your cup of tea, then just choose another weapon that feels better for you.

why i need to choose other weapon if this can be fixed? Why this unique playstyle deserves to exist? And why i need play other weapon if i don't like some aspect of this type, it is ea or not?

I've already written an answer in tt about crossbow mechanics, but seems you didn't understand, so I'll still absurdly ask this questions to you.

Okay. I understand you're having bad time about things in real life and reflecting them on us and this is completely fine by me. You can insult us or disagree about everything people say all day long as long as it makes you feel better, I'm okay with that.

As a serious answer, check these crossbow one shots on some endgame bosses:


These are level 81 bosses, and they should be challenging. I'm not talking about GGG's obligatory "one-shot" anime nonsense, I'm saying they need to endure more than that. It doesn't matter if you need to reload, they're already stunned, so you can reload and hit again, no problem. But that only works if you're good at figuring out what GGG wants you to play in their game. If you play anything else, you'll be constantly annoyed. Monsters will annoy you, mechanics like reloading, bosses, drops, etc. You have to understand that this game isn't a complex and varied ARPG, but a simple puzzle to solve in each league. If you find the build GGG has for you, you can one-shot everything, have fun until it gets boring, then quit the game and go to the next league. There's nothing we can do about it. It's a shame that since the PoE1 beta, they've been marketing their games like "You can do complex things and have fun. You can cast meteors with a melee item and summon minions to blow and blablabla" While that's true, most of the time in high-endgame the only thing that truly matters is meta builds which is directly handed to you by developers. Please don't fall for the nonsense about developers' incompetence. Let it go and find something you enjoy.
