Cannot go through Control Blocks in Act 5 --- Quest: The Key to Freedom.

No. Support will not assist with gameplay issues and will tell you to post here on the forum.

I think they are not upto that innocence section yet, Sounds like they are in control blocks and can not get through to ruined square (Oriath Square) for some reason.

For the Key to freedom quest, when you beat Justicar, you need to pick up a quest item, eye's of zeal, that drops from him, do you have the item or is it dropping when you kill Justicar? It is a small item, takes up one inventor slot. There is a better description on the quest here than the actual quest wiki. If you do not have the eyes, I think the path will be blocked, as it is essential quest line.

The boss of The Key to Freedom, Justicar Casticus, drops Eyes of Zeal. The quest item is a key to open the doors to The Templar Courts in the Oriath Square.

There is also a side quests in control blocks, have you done it? Quest is service to science, requires finding quest item, Miasmeter. I don't think it would be the cause of preventing the progression, but something to check off anyway.

Hi, still I have the same problem, it still persists and I've been there more often and know how to get through there.

Stuck in The Control Blocks.... quests done.... still te block at the very end.

Please help :)

Quests done;

Return to Oriath
The Key to Freedom (and beated Justicar many times)
Death to Purity
In Service to Science

Maybe important is that before I kill Justicar Castricus; there is a block, but after I killed him that particularly block is gone and I can go through.

But not in the complete final (after all zigzagging in the instance).

Killing the Justicar is never required to leave the Control Blocks area. The item the Justicar drops is only required to reach the area past Oriath Square.

The path to the Oriath Square should only become inaccessible after defeating the boss later in the Act--at which point, the only access to the areas past the Control Blocks is via waypoint. This is represented on the World Map for the Act by the = breaking the line between the Control Blocks and Oriath Square.

Any feedback you get on this issue will assume this is the point in the game you're at, unless evidence otherwise is provided.



If you don't have a waypoint to the Chamber of Innocence, can you upload a screenshot showing your map and quest state to some service such as Imgur or Steam and link that screenshot here?

I think you should not be in control blocks at all. It sounds to me like you might of beaten innocence and gone back to control blocks?

If you have beaten innocence, you need to follow the path Seaman has indicated with the arrows. I don't think you can get back to Oriath square via control blocks, during that game state.

What waypoints do you have available on your world map? Do you have the waypoint for Chamber of innocence?

The only way te get further in act 5 seems to me to go fully through The Control Blocks.

Before, I did finish The Slave Pens and I got into town (Overseer's Tower).

There is a bug which is that I realy cannot go through the end.

All possible quests I did finish.




I was there several times and know that there are no options to go further on. I did never expect me myself would bump into a serious Bug, but I'm quite sure I did.
