There are no such a thing as better drop rate or any other advantage. You play the game with added rules.
As far as i know that is the case here too since SSF have been added later.

I cant speek for other games but it's 100% not every other MMO-ARPG and a lot of people enjoy it that way.

I choose thoose modes in games that have an economy because it make the game more grindy, it last longer and you actualy play the whole game and have to engage with every content.

I really hope they never change that here.
