I almoust broke the traditon I followed for years but I still did it afterall. 40/40. AMA.

I left the League after playing on and off for a week or sp disinterested in the game and pursuing other interests (mostly finding more elaborate excuses to procrastinate - like writing and going for walks lol).

But decided to come back and finish challenges in the middle of october thinking it's not gonna be an issue (oh boy, was I kinda wrong). I had 90 Divines or so accumulative wealth to my name but with generous help of strangers and friends I managed to assemble very strong build worth hundreds of Divines - Viper Strike of the Mamba that helped me with both mapping and bossing. You can see bossing setup assembled for Sun_Bouncing_Mamba character. I enjoyed playing that build (with Definance and doing mapping content, Ashes bossing is kind of pain)

I only had 8 or so challenges done and oh boy either I really underesteamated how much effort and time it takes to do 40/40 without playing long hours every day and knocking them down slowly or these time around challenges were grindy. Need to do so many maps, kill so many Infamous Exiles and claim their gear, etc. etc. Also economic challenges this League were just rough - 100+ Divines for challenge that involves new Orbs. Alright. At least special Exalts are accessible via Betrayal for "free".

Last challenge was 4 Uber Bosses I didn't killed before new announcement cause I went to take shower and then new patch happened that broke patching for my region (something with cloudflare) and I couldn't finish patching process and therefore launch the game for 3 days. It is still not fixed, but due to ingenuity of my fellow Russian people who will always find a way today I solved the issue and was able to finish challenges. Hopefully it will be fixed on GGG's end since it already happened prior couple times and was fixed, but maybe it's unfeasable anymore.

Many things happened to me this year. In particular I had tragic event befall on me in the end of September - my Mom I loved so much tragically died leaving me and my sister alone in this World. We spent day together celebrating her Birthday and then she is just gone. I always wanted to tell her that I love her (or tell it more often), to criticise her less, to make her happy, to be a better son. I thought we had time. But we didn't and I can't anymore. At least our last conversation was wholesome and we left on good terms. At first I blamed myself for her death as there were things I could probably do to prvent it but who knows how fate works. I am handling it surprisingly well, maybe even too well given she was most precious person in my life that can not be replaced. Now she will always live in my heart. Sorry for mini-trauma dump guys.

I am finally doing what we always wanted but always postponed as if we lived here temporarily - renovations in the apartment that is in quite sorry state - in particular putting new linoleum instead of old ruined one, buying new things instead of old half-broken stuff, etc. etc. Picking up new good habits and trying to keep old. Fixing relationship with my sister. I am quite busy lately. Fighting my own demons - laziness in particular. It's fucking strong, even now I am writing this post instead of drilling walls to finish with kitchen. xD

So long? What do you mean? I mentioned I was away for 3 months then when I came back it took over a week as despite my initial intent I wasn't solely focused on finishing challenges asap. Also it took 2 days or so to figure out and assemble build. I thought finding Exiles / their unique mods would take the longest but I knocked them up quickly while grinding maps and friend shared some with me. Oh, also I spent multiple hours crafting good t16 maps to burn for grinds and then finished grind with Conqueror / T17s / t16.5s lol. I am not the most efficient player lol.

so how many you spend currency wise?
