Wisps should follow the player, not the other way around

The issues: The wisp mechanic currently just doesn't work in endgame because they are too slow and don't keep up with the players, they take too long to affect monsters and they don't even always target the nearest rare and make you backtrack a lot.

My solution: Making wisps follow the player or even attach to the player and empower monsters around you would solve all these problems and would actually make us engage with them instead of just ignoring them.

Seriously, I assumed this is how they would work when they were first announced.

Can’t believe 1) they didn’t do it that way from the beginning and 2) months later we still have this garbage implementation of them.
This is by far one of the most annoying mechanics in this game to me. And that Delwhatever guy can't stop sh*ttalking is so funny too. I think they know it sucks, Mark mentioned about it on their last interview with Zigiby-Di.

-1. How dumb would it be if they followed you? Terrible idea.
They always go to some rare monster that is inconvenient as well, and then the drops are meh at best. Great idea of having them follow, maybe they don't possess and consume, but impact and not consume, and keep following you throughout the map, impacting all rares and then the boss. Would be more fun than how it is now, which is lame.

The problem is that if you reach a rare monster , wisp is too slow to enter inside him that you've already killed the rare monster.

Wisp should go with insane speed to nearest rare monster wether you find it or not.
