Poe2 on linux?

cachyos with cachy proton support runs soooooo much better its not even a question if it runs better....but alas.. i went back to win 11 for the quality of life things with various apps.-.maybe if i get a third drive and dual booting os's works better i will reinstall cachy os..but i got my windows 11 dialed in and multistreaming at 1440 p with no lag/stutter so im fine ATM
oh yeah i agree. it runs great on cachy. i use the proton customized by the cachy group. i accidentally booted into windows last week and thought wtf is this??
i've been streaming on cachy as well @ 1440p. it works quite well. too bad linux doesn't support many of the plug-ins that windows does.
Nvidia 580.105.08 drivers are out. streamed two hours yesterday, everything seems to run just fine.

tangentially related. anyone know how to use LACT to under volt a video card? can you explain it to me like i'm 5 years old? i've looked at several websites and "documention" but it doesn't make any sense to me.

out of curiosity i installed the stand alone client. it seems to run fine with wine. i didn't do anything at all. simply ran the downloader and started the game exe.
for reference i'm running cachyos with nvidia gpu and intel cpu

I attempted the same thing as you haha. I was running POE2 on Arch without a compatibility layer just fine! Then GGG released a patch that caused the entire game to stutter every couple seconds. Tried correcting it with various troubleshooting steps within Steam, POE2, and Arch itself. No luck.

Switched back to Windows are there was no more stuttering. Maybe you'll have more luck on Mint but I had to switch back to Windows for now.

Few weeks later running fine on Arch again. Using Proton Experimental compatibility layer. Arch Kernel version 6.17.6
