Arcane Isle Hideout

Would love to see a full walkthrough of this new hideout to see if I want to purchase it.

Agreed. The first thing I thought of was using warp runes to be able to jump levels quickly vs. walking the stairs.

Thanks for sharing that link. I thought it would have more than the 1 upper level and the amount of room in the "tower" is far less than I would like. You would need to have many NPCs/HO benches on the outer ring if you were to make it the main area of your HO.

Yeah, it was a little too segmented for me. I need at least one pretty large area to chuck all the stuff you were talking about.



Now for the totems, they would have looked great scattered throughout the new hideout, but the top tower is just not big enough for me.

I bought it and immediately disliked it =(

The tower is clearly the choice for main area.

Cons:

Roof is too low in tower, makes it feel cramped.
Tower slightly too small
Tower has a door instead of open world stairs

Pros:

You can see activity in the ground area from the tower

I disliked the tower top for the same reasons.

So what I did was build the main area down there and place the waypoint in the bottom of the stairs to the tower top.

This way when I or other players teleport in, they can see the activity down there with a nice view from the tower, which is the coolest feature of this hideout IMO.

With some hideout designing skills it can look much more amazing from up there. Lots of potential!

is that your map device down there? You are going to run downstairs everytime you die in a map?

Yeah the view is cool but having to run down would get kind of annoying.

A while back we had the supporter pack with that box you put in the hideout that let you switch between vanilla and a darker/more hellish alternate reality. People were using it for memes of being surrounded by statues when you clicked on it, but I just like the visual of the "other side" and it's the permanent state in my current hideout.

I'm wondering what this hideout looks like when using the box.

Edit: Scourge Hideout Decoration is the name of the box.
