T7 being more profitable than hardest maps killed the league for me

This concept is normal and it's the way poe1 has always worked as well.

It's a strat for farming gold and anything that drops at ilvl 71 and below. In poe1 people farm div cards doing this too.

People with different goals will always play differently from each other.

You don't get xp progress in t7s and you can't trade for passive points.

You also won't get any decent item bases or perfect orbs because they won't drop.

Imagine everyone except for one guy is farming t7s because of this amazing new strategy - the one guy farming t16s is going to take everyone's t7 orbs because no one else will have perfects or high tier/exceptional bases.

It might mean less raw divs, yes.

But like, you are also getting other items

Even ignoring non-currencies... Have you seen the prices on Perfects?

Hmm the other day ive dropped a base 2 rune socket wand and sold it for 66 div, yesterday i sold an energy shield armour with 3 rune socket for 12 div.

Just ignore noobs doing stupid stuff, i'm just playing the game and profiting a lot.

Oh rare/magical tier 5 unidentified also drop only in higher content, which can give you an almost perfect rare item that can sell for a lot as well, i've done it multiple times.
Also t16 maps sell for like 2 annul each. ;))
this is only true if you only pick up currency

and we all know that currancy drops are like 33% of the total loot, and its usually even less
