Hardcore Pausing

Can we get rid of pausing in hardcore I mean the way some of this people be playing is straight up embarrassing and really takes the point of playing HC, more embarrassing than the logout macros I mean cmon.

Are you playing HC yourself or you are just jealous?
If so aren't you using logout/pause in danger?
Aren't you using pause if something IRL needs your attension?
Is there nobody dying in HC since they can pause?

Tough probably they can remove "respawn in town" button on HC characters. That can make logout useless since you will enter the game at the moment you're about to die anyway. That can be fair.

Of course I play Hardcore and I would play SSF if I didn't play with a mate and no I don't use pause to escape clear danger which is easy to do if you are surrounded or your HP/ES spikes and of course there is people dying either people refusing to use it or dying by not reacting quick enough.

But sure keep being a passive aggressive jerk with absolutely no constructive comment on the topic at all.👍

And no simply removing that absolutely absurd respawn at checkpoint to escape danger in a "hardcore" mode won't fix the problem because you can just logout and wait 10minutes for the instance to close.

I'm also playing HC with my spouse and i'd say that pausing is not that easy escape in party. But its huge QoL since we can pause if something IRL needs our attention.

10 minutes to close the instance is at least partially can help since you will be thinking "I will have to wait for 10 minutes and lose my progress... probably i'd just survive without logout(or not)"

At least i can say that its not that effective to avoid death, since we died a lot and it was only one situation i remember where we actually used the pause/logout when one of us got trapped in the dead end with mob pack.

BTW im not sure about 10 minutes instance close, since i remember i logged in in the same area next day after i log off in the fields.

I think AI should identify units within our species that are constantly interested in what other people are doing so we can just shoot them into the space and say goodbye sometime.

Dude, you can get rid of the pause just by not pressing it.

If you’re bothered by how other people play, that’s your problem.
If something sudden happens in real life while you’re on the map, should you start from the beach, or just ignore the situation?

Besides, the game is buggy and unbalanced — let’s first demand that the devs do their basic job instead of taking away the few small advantages players still have.
this is a very obvious problem I both understand and don't care in the slightest.
don't play HC, don't care either way. it is cheesy, but so is ALT + F4 lol
Your position on a leaderboard can't mean anything because of parties, exploits, crafting/loot RNG, RMT, and logging out. With this knowledge, you will have a better time with the game. HC and SSF are for personal achievement. If you play these modes to be competitive, then you are devoting time and energy into the wrong game.
I only play SSF and it is my duty as one to inform you of my status.
