Rakiata's Flow and Lineage support "single copy" rule encourage 1-button builds.

For everyone following this thread, please allow me to clarify that this post is NOT a post that say "one button builds are bad" or "Rakiata is too powerful". No.
This is a simple neutral behavior report of my personal experience of when I use Rakiata IF I decided to use it, there is slight friction against incorporating more than one damaging skill in the build. Whether it is intentional or not is not for me to say because I am just another player that know nothing about game design or philosophy of this game ideology. I simply made this post as a player noticing contrast between game mechanic and published statements of GGG's vision for the gameplay, and I THINK they may appreciate to be informed about what the average players see. Do I know exactly how powerful is Rakiata? No. Absolutely not. Do I still feel the need to only use one damaging skill with Rakiata? Yes. It simplify the build button wise, save me many of the precious passive points that I spec into penetration on the tree that I can invest in even more raw damage or survivability, OR save me the amulet slot so I can ditch Choir of the Storm or Pandemonius for a +3 amulet or Fire Flower. All at the cost of one single support socket. That is a deal that to me personally, is very enticing. I acknowledge that you do NOT have to use Rakiata, it is not THE layer of damage scaling that you HAVE to have. Neither it is THE 1-button enabler that every 1-button builds are using. I am also personally disagree on the notion that flat out saying "One button builds are bad". As a long time PoE1 enjoyer, I too, have been enjoying 1/0-button builds immensely for a very long time (since Essence league), and currently planning to come back to PoE1 next season for some more of that playstyle as PoE2 league is winding down. Whether it is "good for the game" or not is for GGG to decides, not us, as they have access to the numbers and we are not. If the game crash down, so be it. I want to play the game they make, not make them create the game I want to play. There is a clear distinction. Once again, this is simply a NEUTRAL behavior report with absolutely no emotion or hidden agenda behind it. I will play and fully utilize every available mechanic GGG released regardless if it's in PoE1 direction or not, because I am just another player, and I don't feel the need to make it harder for myself to reach the peak, neither do I want to do that to feel that I am better at people. I enjoy theory crafting builds, the availability of this support entice ME (specifically) to only use one damaging skill, and that is everything this post was supposed to say. I appreciate your perspective and input, but please refrain from arguing over nothing. |

Look mate.
I have like 3-5 lineage gems on my build. Do I play one button? No. I use 5. It does not matter what gems you have in game, if you want to play one button builds. 'nuff said. All I'm seeing is ppl have something against lineage gems (prolly not getting those) and as ppl are not lucky enough, no1 should be. just play the game, ty. |

Rakiata flow and maybe 2-3 more are worth a fortune. Sadly all the others are meh. Divine prices reveal their quality.
