Season's over

This!

And then, you can combine breach\ expedition with lineage\atziri farm = 50-400( if lucky) div per hour. Ppl just don't watn to play the game, engage with it - they need mirror after the campaign
POE2 has lost so many players tihs league because of the terrible bugs in the game that GGG refuse to fix or even aknowledge. I was watching Krixxx play yesterday and he kept getting given god tear gear from random players who said theyre quiting. I see it all over in game chat. And I see the party list dwindle. Everyone has figured out by now that if you play in a party you get Deadlock Detected crash. And still GGG do nothing.

The Holten exploit pretty much put the last nail in the coffin for the economy. With exploiters getting and handing out divines likes theyre candy. There are now items selling for thousands of D on the trade. I have a freind who doesnt even pick up the divines in his Vaal temple any more, he says theyre not worth the time to collect them as hes ziping through the vaal temple looking for items he can trade for mirrors.

Spoiler. Mid tier endgame gear is 50+ div each, low-mid tier jewels 100-500 div. If you don't have temple built - you can't afford anything after campaign.

And it's no longer possible to build temple anymore. It could be the best league ever, but it turned out the worst due to bugs, imbalance and game design issues that persist since s1

you are wrong.

the only stuff thats too expensive now is top tier gear and thats it.

Yep.

If you want T2 spell level and spell damage and some cast speed, you pay like what.. 0.2 divines?

And those rolls are enough to do all the content in the game.

It costs under 10 divines to set a character up to clear T15/T16 with good pace and to be able to do all pinnacles and the temple.

That trade exists and that streamers and content creators run mega broken builds that just blitz forward while everything around dies instantly creates this expectation that everyone should be able to do that. It's unfortunate.

you are both so correct. It costs you like 10divs or less RN to build something that can clear all t15/16 content + uber bosses. Excluding ultra juiced abyss/deli stuff of course. I am talking about like 4mod maps

FFS..I started late, I just reached endgame , currently I'm doing tier V maps.
If only I had started in the very begginning, maybe I would have had 1 devine orb.

I played this game from almost 850 hours, since 0.1 launched.
I only had 3 devine orbs drop on 4 charatecters (my highest character in endgame was the Amazon at level 92)

I don't get it... i run full juiced maps with 30-40% rarity (that's the most I get with full resistences and armour & energy shield and evasion)
I think I got maximum 3 anulment orbs, 37 chaos orbs and 3 divs, maybe 4 divs ...

I just hate it when there is an exploit and other streamers are farming it constantly, meanwhile we, the average/casual players suffer the most..

It's really unfair and I know I'm crying like a bebe now :)))
But I feel like my time in this game is not respected at all.....

But I feel like my time in this game is not respected at all.....

I respected my time this morning by going for a walk in a park. Then I ran temple. Then I went to work.

The "game needs to respect my time" trope is toxic, and often sounds addictive to me. Playing games means that you are disrespecting your own time. You're taking time away from being able to improve your real life. I do it anyway, just as people drink whiskey or smoke cigars even though they know it isn't healthy.

If you focus on earning online currency instead of real-world currency, you will be disappointed no matter what GGG does.

You completely took the discusstion to a hole different level that has no point.

That was not my point, I work overtime on three shifts for a job that allows me a hybrid work of 3 days at home with 2 in the office.

My point is that whenever I have some hours to spend (after I've finished everything else) I play some POE
But, lately I feel like my time in the game is not worth the low currency drop, because I don't actually get to fully enjoy crafting my own items.
That's all

Yeah. As I recall it, the "game respects your time"-thing became mainstream'ish when Guild Wars 2 early on advertised the game with that it's a game that respect the player's time. So 10, 15 years ago.

To them, what it meant is that if you put time into the game and get something good, that something will always be good. E.g. the epic gear you got 10 years ago is still the best gear you can get, aside of some very marginal improvements in very specific types of content, and aside some horizontal upgrades that might work better for specific builds.

That has its good and bad sides. On the good side, you can play all of GW2's content at a very slow pace and not fall behind. Gear you got 5 years ago is in all likelihood just as much the best gear now as it was then.

On the bad side, it means that people quickly run out of character progress and upgrades. The end game grind in GW2 is mainly about cosmetics and convenience items. Not about character power.

It doesn't fit PoE's design philosophy at all. PoE is designed around the concept that you can always get some improvement, even very tiny marginal improvement, by grinding ever more. The whole game is centered around the fact that you repeatedly lose everything and start anew via the leagues. It's, by design and in many respects, the exact opposite of what GW2 meant with "the game respects your time".

The gear you get in PoE now is basically meaningless when a new league starts. Even if you play standard only - your build might use specific niche types of gear and that build might get nerfed and your gear becomes useless.

And that's fine, IMO. It's up to the players to not let the game take hours out of them that are not fun.
