Gold

" I'm not even against this idea. If a NPC would sell 350k gold for 1 Div, this would be a good way to sink them and it could fix a little bit of the inflation issue. Inflation would still exist but it wouldn't be as fast/bad. I'm not necessarly advocating for it but honestly, it's not a terrible idea. You already can buy gold with currency, it's called a castaway run. The problem is, it dosen't sink the currency and it's an hassle finding them. In the end, it's still going to be harder to flip/exchange currency/craft if you have to pay a div for 500k gold let's say. It could be less, id say 350k gold per 1 div would be more realistic and the reason is that because some ppl will still offer castaway services for 1 div that will give 550k gold. People that think this is a bad idea and completely voids the reason gold was implemented in the first place are not thinking this through. There's an undeniable fact right now: gold has to be taken into account when you are crafting. So wether there's a NPC for gold or not, this should not change the current pricing curve for crafting than it already is because you can already buy castaway runs. So the crafter can either play the game more for gold, or pay the NPC for instant gold. It shouldn't affect the sale price that much than it currently is. The difference lies in the time required. A NPC would instantly give me 350k for 1 div and I don't have to waste my time. GGG loves friction, this would be more of it and could work. Or you simply play the game more and make gold from your maps. It's not as bad as it looks. I don't know the exact sweet numbers. But on the top of my head 350k gold makes sense.
