Having to spend millions of gold to purchases exalts because exalts are 1000ex/1div is kinda lame guys. Omen of lights, ancients, etc cost thousands and thousands of ex now. Div prices of those are more expensive and are always a decimal price so you have to buy multiple to get a whole number price.

Omen of light is currently 1 for 3.8 div in the exchange Omen of light is currently 1 for 122 chaos in the echange 122 chaos / 34 = 3,58 div So not only you save gold, but it's cheaper to buy them with chaos. This information can be fact checked right now. I can buy easily 1 omen of light with 122 chaos. So what are you trying to say here? Buying omen of light with raw exalts is insanity, that's 3000 ex per trade. The gold you spent is also worth something. A castaway run yields on average 550k gold and you usually have to pay 1 div for that run. Never buy omen of light with exalts when the economy is in such a state... People that sell their omen of light for exalts, are also paying an insane amount of gold on their side to get the exalts. Just be rational and trade with chaos orbs or divs. Gold is worth something and that's perfect. The reason people list cheaper currency wise from exalt to omen of light is because any rational buyer would always buy them with chaos instead. Since the seller need exalts, they need to cut down in value when listing, and it's a mistake imo. What they should do instead is convert their OL in divs, then divs to exalts but some ppl are rich and don't have time to waste and need the exalts fast, so thats why they list it under the currency real value because they know the gold cost it implies on the buyer is worth the amount you save and the raw currency trade. When I checked:
1 Div = 995 Exalt 1 Div = 34 Chaos 1 Omen of Light = 127 Chaos 1 Omen of Light = 3050 Exalt 3050 Exalt = 3.06 Div 127 Chaos = 3.69 Div 4 Div -> 3980 Exalt = 477,600 Gold 4 Div -> 136 Chaos = 21,760 Gold The problem is Exalt to Omen is "Significantly" less Divine. However, this late in the league +-1 Div doesn't matter to me, so I'd of just paid the 4 Div and kept it moving. If this guy only has 4 Div to his name I could see how this matters to him. " the 127 chaos is the sell price, 122 chaos is the buy price. Usually if you are not in a hurry, the 122 chaos buy price should take around 2-3 minutes to complete. If you get undercutted to 123, well you just wait. If you are rich, you dont bother with that, you go for the div conversion. Ultimately, gold are worth currency wether people realize it or not. The proof is that a castaway run cost normally 1 div and yields around 550k. We could extrapolate gold value in divs solely based on this information and it would be close to reality. And if you also take in account that doing these runs require some time investment and the hassle of finding a run, then you have all the information required that gold indeed has some real value in terms of currency. |
