[SUGGESTION] The One Mechanic That Could Fix Boss One-Shots in PoE2

I get your concerns, but again, we can't give any idea if we base ourselves on those arguments.

I just think there should always be a way to "break" a build and do more than expected damage. This should be allowed as part of the fun in the game. While map clearing I don't see an issue of one shot, in fact, is great!

But for bosses, this constant balancing out never gets done. The system I am proposing unlocks unlimited imagination of what can happen.

There could be many new and exclusive new things that happens with Spillover Damage. And these are exclusively to MODIFY boss fights, and only works with bossing.

This would be a platform mechanic to personalise YOUR boss fight, as it would require to stay with the boss for while longer than now if you are doing way too much damage, just enough to have to deal with a few of the boss mechanics that are so cool and we should not be rewarded by missing it because the build is too strong.

I agree loot reward may not be the answer. But exclusive buffs would be amazing. Like a one time scape death for a single fight. A necromancer appears that constantly gives you life for X seconds. An infinite mana pool delivered by a rain over you. A maxed out resistance if you keep dealing spillover damage.... endless ideas
