I really hope they won’t be added ever again.

I didn’t enjoy playing with them - and that’s fine, some league mechanics just don’t click with everyone, but...

what made Mercenaries different is how mandatory they felt. Every other league mechanic in PoE was optional - you could engage with it for fun or profit, but you didn’t have to. With the sheer amount of power a Mercenary can provide to your character, playing without one felt like putting a stick in your bike spokes.

Please don’t make us feel forced to use them again.

Mercenaries will be deleted.

This is literally the best decision of what to do with mercs. I really enjoyed mercs, i made a doryani merc, I felt it like cheating, then i made an aurabot and a carry merc and it was hands down fantastic. Playing aurabot with an AI friend:)

But mercenerries made the game too easy, like literally from mud flats, you hired a merc and it massacred everything from that moment.

One of the best, easiest mechanic. You are tomato if you are force to have merc. Its just shoud be an addon nothing more

I'm going to miss my Mercs. I'll be very disappointed if they return as pale shadows of themselves where once again, only the top end players get to benefit from them and the vast proportion of the player base gets an underperforming mechanic.

Next league better be amazing or I'm likely to sit it out until Mercs come back. That's how much they improved the game for me and made it enjoyable and compelling to play. I've only skipped one or two leagues previously since I started playing.
