     If damage is removed from gems, monsters need to have their HP nerfed to account for it. Otherwise we're going to get situations where timed encounters such as Breach and Delirium will become near unrewarding, or the now-forced boss fight with Mektul in the Molten Vault map will be impossible. 
    I think, instead, all support gems should give damage mods. Nerf damage from gems that already have it and add it to ones that don't to compensate. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!
