Fix your Endgame!

After playing this new 0.3.1 update for a solid week I can safely say I will not be touching this game until they actually make an endgame that isn't such a mess. After this update map bosses have become almost impossible. Requiring a boss completion to beat the map was completely unnecessary and not to mention it now has more health than a pinnacle boss....
Precursor towers have become irrelevant since tablets drop on high quant/quality maps so whats the point to even go for them except for maybe better vision on the map which doesn't even matter since the map is endless. And to top it off, they slide in a nice 10% xp penalty if you die which inevitably going to happen with a lazy over scaled and underdeveloped endgame so if you aren't running a meta build, you get level capped. Between having an xp penalty (one of the worst/dumb mechanics in an arpg)and the overtuned/underdeveloped endgame, I don't see a point to come back until a major change.

bosses are not bad, unspec boss atlas points if they are. better than perma having map overlaid running rare to rare

That was the whole point of precursor tablets and towers.... to be able to jump maps and see more while also being able to mega juice maps with tons of modifiers. And having to unspec points in the boss tree that I earned because of overtuned bosses is just terrible design. Why punish players for the rewards the earn by having a massive spike that presents a wall if you don't run meta.

are the boss points really punishing not taking them? I don't think they are that great, but yeah. it's just a workaround for builds that can't kill them easily.

some stuff is better than others and we need more viable skills/ archetypes for sure but I don't think saying +4 bosses are the problem is right
Same here. The endgame is horrible. The itemization isn't great, especially uniques. Every build that I like playing is nerfed into the ground.

see this is the problem. youre telling people who already killed the bosses/maps in order to get the boss atlas points, to unspec the reward for already doing so... in order to... do what they were already doing prior to the patch?

that is such an illogical solution that its not even funny, its just sad and pathetic.

how about... you do not as a development team, upload a whole league seasonal patch, without the FUCKING BOSSES BEING COMPLETELY BUGGED....

they had literally hundreds of thousands of people beta testing... as well as the internal testers they already dont listen to... telling them...

I don't know why you're so worked up. In 0.2, I didn't use the boss atlas nodes until well after I first got them. Why should 0.3 be different?
SSF Rise of the Abyssal Ice Strike Invoker, high survivability and fast clear speed. Deprioritize armor and resistances; prioritize crafting a weapon and faster start of ES recharge. Build is shown at level 47, end of Act 3. It tore through Act 3 like butter.

Thats what we're upset about if you read.....unnecessary scaling for a now required boss on every map that has been known to have bugs on occasion making maps dreadful not to mention a 10%xp penalties for dying. You not putting points into the boss atlas nodes after you got them is a space cadet move. And saying why put points into the atlas boss tree in 0.3.1 which was an update INTENDED for endgame, are we serious? hahahah
