Made for streamers and people that can play hours nonstop
I really love this game , its very good but i feel like its made for streamers and people that can play hours nonstop . If your a random like me that has 1/2 hours a day max it feels like you cant get anywherre . 2 weeks almost and you feel stuck bro. Cant upgrade , no currency drops . Its hard to keep playing for real without seeing progress

What do you want to achieve exactly? This is the important point. If you wanna be like the streamers - tough luck, you won't be. So set reasonable goals for yourself first and foremost

Well you play an arpg mmo. That takes a lot of time.
In the end it depends on what you want to achieve in the game. |

" More and more players have the same opinion as OP. Including me. This is not about we trying to be streamers, this is how the game treats players. Every skill isn't viable, so you can not play any skill and feel like you can progress with it. And if you didn't pick wisely (meta) you might have to farm over and over the same zone until you get a new gem to try again. Didn't pick a powerful (meta) skill again? Repeat. You don't want to repeat? Go look for a guide or a Streamer that tells you exactly which one to pick and... play what the Streamer said. So, what OP says: its very good but i feel like its made for streamers and people with time enough to pick wrong multiple times. There are other games in which farming the same zone over and over is fine, but not in this one. PoE2 doesn't invite the player to do that. It also doesn't explain the player most of its mechanics, neither it is clear how to scale damage. Casters scale in a very different way that meele characters do, and they are also different from ranged. It is not intuitive. Do not forget that GGG want as many players as possible, and if your game denies the endgame or even reaching the endgame for most of them, they will tell their friends to not even try it. Again: the game has to be for everyone. Aspirational content shouldn't be mandatory and completely optional, like Diablo 4 does despite the hate in receives from ''blasters'' and streamers. |

You are correct.
Some games are simply designed for people who can and will play a lot of hours. People who only have minimal time to play are not the target audience. It really is that simple. |

" This is not an MMO. Never has been. Never will. It has no elements of MMO, neither devs have ever said that was their intention. I legit don't know what you are talking about. |

" but you see the stats how the people are not playing the game ? i dont think that is wanted by any company. anyway why are so many defending the game and against feedback? As a Casual its is clearly not possible to play the game as fun as it should be. the drops are 99% time crap, the crafting is too complicated and way to expensive. and right now the inflation is just out of hands. if you dont think so, start a new char or build , with 1 mio gold , no crafting and spending real money. yeah thats not enjoyable if you have a Life and just want to enjoy a game without rocket science .... But like i said , thats exactly what the numbers are showing. |

" Attempting to appeal to more and more people to make the playerbase as large as possible is always a bad idea. It's far better to define your target audience, and design only for that audience. Less players but they're the target audience is greater than more players but the audience is mixed with people from outside actual target. Part of how the target audience is defined here is "people with a lot of time to play, who want to spends large amounts of time on one game". Anyone who does not fit that description is not in the target audience and will not be designed for. I hate the economy too. I'm annoyed by how hard and slow it is to actually get anywhere. It irks me that I'll never "complete" a league because leagues will always end before I have time to get everything done, even if that is in part because I play too many characters instead of focusing on less. Does not change the fact of who is and isn't the target audience of the game. I don't play Fifa because I'm not the target audience of Fifa. If you aren't the target audience of this, you probably shouldn't play this. Find a game you are in the target audience for and you'll enjoy your time more. |

No not really.
The opposite is true for PoE 2. There’s really nothing to do and for the stuff that there is to do you don’t even need expensive gear You complete all content in this game in about 2-3 days of character time played and not even a div invested into the character Mash the clean
