I guess thats cool but Id rather be playing poe 2 but because of performance issues that's not possible. Having to wait another 20 days just to get into a league thats not going to die is alittle much to me. I spent over 700$ canadian for the poe 2 supporter bundle that I cant even use along with skins and skill cosmetics for what. Such a waste of money im absolutely fuming right now at this poe 2 experience.

Keep contact with customer support, we don't need to hear that
We are back boyz!
Friends forever with our Trarthan friends!!!

Also, it's early access which means it's not a finished product yet. So it's expected.
I'm not a fan of mercenaries, I've said it before, the fact that we had to rely so heavily on a mercenary to deal damage, as was the case with 99% of the builds, has been a horrible feeling for me. I think it’s been one of the worst leagues *for my taste*, and I repeat, for my own taste, I really dislike the idea of depending on an AI-controlled NPC to deal damage.

BUT, if mercenaries become core, then it’ll be a fixed mechanic, and builds will always be made with mercenaries from now on. That will make everything get rebalanced, monster life, boss damage, etc. In the end, it’ll be like always, but with a mercenary. I just hope they don’t make it a total dependency, that you can still make builds without mercenaries and have them work just as well.

And something important: mercenaries and Animate shouldn’t be compatible. Having a mercenary that buffs you, weakens enemies, and also an Animate that does the same thing at the same time? Way too broken. Either they balance things properly, or this could end up completely broken.

The sad part is that you actually have to abuse the doryani-bug, otherwise you'll not be able to compete with everyone who is abusing the bug. It's dumb how GGG allowed it to be abused, because it definitely is a bug when the mercs don't instantly die with -200 lightning res.

If you didn't use the doryani then you were playing a completely different game from everyone else, so there was no choice but to use it. I like the idea of mercs, but they should be somewhat supportive, not build enabling. They should be like in Diablo 2, protect you a bit, grab some aggro and so on.

Edit:
I wish GGG would make it clear.
Are we allowed to abuse bugs or not? I don't want to be in the scenario again where I'm waiting for the bug to be patched because I don't want to abuse the bug. And then only for it to turn out not to be patched. So they really have to make the playing field clear so we know which rules to follow and which not to.

No you didn't.
I have 3 endgame builds and got all challenges and didnt play any lightning characters so never bothered with messing around with Doryani's.
My mercs gave me a nice little power boost, or an extra aura or 2, or were great solo levelling companions, but none of them were essential to my build apart from the aurabot merc carry which I made for a laugh and was the weakest of the three.
My merc might die mid sim, and then it just meant Omni and Kosis took a few more seconds to kill.
delete mercs pls

Don't change the fact it made 90% of very strong builds a lot stronger. Just because it works without the doryani doesn't mean it won't be better with it.

Why Mercs should die with -200 res? You know how doryani works? Armor is applying to lighting damage instead of lighting res. Where is here a bug? You want to say, when you use doryani on your char, you die instead because you have -200 lightning res? Lol.
