Path of Exile 3.27 Announcement and Launch Date

I came back to POE because of mercenaries because they really switch things up in a game that IMHO was becoming rather stale. I was waiting on buying any supporter packs because I wanted to see if they'll go core or not (standard only is fine since I'm a standard player anyways). If they don't, then I won't buy any supporter packs and will just head back out on my merry way. If they do, then I'll buy all the supporter packs for $1000 or whatever and stick around some more.

But I'm just one (dolphin-tier spending) person.

Are any of the complainers here involved in the development of online projects with teams of more than 10 people? No? A week or two is nothing considering the scale. Do you have any idea what GGG is actually doing with these 2 games development wise? Again no? Then stop complaining and try to imagine what this entails. The fact that they kept up with the updates for so many years is amazing.
Thank you GGG for all your work. Can hardly wait to see what this league will bring

In the F2P gaming industry where most of the revenue typically comes from a rather small % of the playerbase, data from the actually paying customers is quite valuable to any company that desires revenue (which is pretty much every company, more or less)

Hope this is a good league seeing it is the last patch before Christmas

There is no reason to be sarcastic like that. Of course I am not under any delusion that I as a sole person matter. But the fact of the matter is that 1st November is not october anymore and as someone who plays every single league I think I am allowed to be annoyed to not be able to start it.

This obsession to get into the game as soon as possible some people here have is just weird

Seems some people cant get over the fact the schedule is 1 week off or a holliday will be on week 1

Guys, its just a videogame, its not like a salary where a few days delay can be legit detrimental. The league will stay for something like 3,8 months, if having to postphone the videogame for a week or a few days will make or break the experience, thats an issue. Consider take a break to cure the addiction, or look for help to work on this impulsive compulsion, this need to have what you want right away

Getting to use the toy on day 1 is cool, but having to wait for day 8 is not the end of the world, losing a week worth of progress on something that will go "poof" after 4 months is also hardly worth trowing a tantrum over

Sure, GGG will assess your threat, that of a player who “plays in standard,” where he is, three other people, and maybe a pet to keep them company...

Better to “move on,” my friend. You're lucky that standard is even an option 😂
