Sorry, nothing to share. :( I used to follow my own character on ninja, but I guess the API for that was retracted. Hopefully that comes back someday.

Ohh, I swapped out detonate dead with spearfield and Infernal cry. Wow, that's fun. I gave spearfield armour break and that's constantly giving me endurance charges (and rage from a jewel). I'm crying all day, everyday. This is a cool combo. Also, it's just funny watching the enemies trying to wade through the spearfield - all slowed, blind, and bleeding - while I'm throwing spears at them. Combo gameplay is doing well in PoE2 and spears, I think. :)

I managed to record a clip of everything we've discussed here, and somehow I survived, even though it gave me serious cancer while playing. Mana leech, abyss nonsense, visual clown fiesta etc. Here's the link:


I really don't know what GGG planned to make this game marketable. Imagine if the abyss rares in this fight had abyss clouds that neglate your damage, what would I do in that situation? Devs just saying die and f off I guess? The gameplay is incredibly stressful if you're not playing a mirror worthy build and this is not fun for most of the casual players, unless you're a toxic masochist. Also, I don't know how any casual melee player could survive this sh*tstorm.

Yes, I try new combinations every day and most of them are really fun, but attribute blocks and respect system ruin the iterative build process, which is perfectly normal for a beta game I suppose. Add not having a sandbox mode to try your build to this equation and there you have the most boring experience of gaming you can see in your entire life while looking at your screen 3 hours straight to figure out if it's good or not; pathetic QoL.
