As I've said in other threads too: please stop asking the devs to punish people who can handle the speed and item clutter. If your brain melts when the loot piñata explodes, that is not a global design emergency, that is a "you" problem. Deal with it yourself instead of trying to get everyone else slowed down to walking simulator speed.

On movement speed specifically, I actually agree it's way too fast right now, but not because "fast is bad". It's because the view area is tiny. You're basically driving a race car while looking through a keyhole. If they increased the visible area, a lot of the "too fast" feeling would vanish overnight.

Same with map design. A lot of layouts are long, narrow corridors with low monster density. Of course people want to blast through them as fast as possible: you clear one end, then you just want to get to the next chunk of actual content, not take a scenic jog through empty hallways. Movement speed becomes the obvious answer because there is nothing else to do in those spaces.

Overall I think some form of limit is fine, but not with a giant hard cap hammer. Stuff like Amanamu's Gaze is a good example of how to do it more elegantly: you socket it and you get +40% maximum movement speed for all of your gear. It's a soft ceiling baked into an item choice, not a global "no fun allowed" rule slapped on everyone.

What I'd actually like to see much more of is community-oriented content instead of blanket nerfs. Right now party play is usually: you join, two guys zoom-clear the entire map in 10 seconds, and if you're not strapped to their ankles you either get nothing or get kicked for "wasting time". It's less "co-op ARPG" and more "try to keep up with this crack-addicted courier".

They could fix a lot of that with design, not speed limits: stronger bosses, shared objectives, or timer-based events that make the group stay in one place for a bit. No, I don't want 5-minute unskippable cutscenes every map, but short events, boss intermissions, or timed encounters would give slower players a chance to catch up and actually enjoy the content together.

TL;DR: don't nerf everyone's legs because some people don't like to sprint. Fix the camera, fix the layouts, use smart soft caps like Amanamu's Gaze, and add content that actually encourages playing together instead of just racing past each other.

i dont agree with putting a cap on things as with enough investment builds should be able to be godlike, i do think that the ease on which power can be gained is abit too easy on certain builds while others struggle, this is just a balancing issue which will take a while to get in a good place.

It would be nice if they did more mid-league balance changes to the lower performing skills, buffing them mid-league is not going to upset people where as nurfing high end builds will ruin many peoples fun and time invested into those build.
So i only need to play 20 hours then logged out or what (corrupted arbiter kill)? Because the fun is testing new imba stuff, no reason to play if it gone

The more difficult is the game the more people attracts. Right now one click clearings made game boring,predictable and not for skillful players.

Besides "insane builds" should include also builds that rely in defence immunity but someone cut these options from the overall design.


Bro, but the prolem is game not become harder if you have DPS or MS cap. If want game harder, make Boss 20x more life/dmg (or even 100x more life/dmg), its very simple.
The problem here is, too much casual player want thier character strong as the skillful player, they dont understand the game, dont know how to make build, dont know almost everything but want thier character strong as other. Im sure even when the boss become 100x harder, there ppl will keep cry again.

Bro there is a huge difference (and sometimes astronomical) between builds. It doesn't be ignorance faults that ruining completely the game. Even a 3 year old baby can notice that in POE2. I don't care if it is early Access. Caps is the only way for balancing as Devs used it right to defences. Guys that are upset using OP builds mainly Meta. Partying is unplayable right now becouse some players playing the mouse and others the elephant.
