wow 3.1 killed the fun..
" Well, thats the whole point, it was in 0.3, but 0.31 shifted the balance way, way too far over. |

" es point fingering stopped the moment peoples non es characters, who play evasion... or es/eva.... eva/armor ... starting die'n suddenly ... citing missing 5-15% evasion. losing 5-15% of your most invested in stat, is pretty significant, and would make some builds unable to complete content they were already doing. so now all that is keeping them alive is their 2-4k es. and you are wondering why es isnt getting the nerf calls it used to? come on now... its pretttty self explainitory. players know what they want.... alot more than the dev's do. and bosses are not too hard, unless you do things like i did. and +7 mod them. if you are in a map. and you cannot kill a boss in said map you have 2 options. enter a lower tiered map. or dont put as much mods on the map tier you currently tried. (if not as many, then, maybe dont put negative 65% life/es regen, while playing a ES or life regen char.) the number of people who ive run with who dont look at their mods, and just run map her der... and die (or cause someone else to cuz they ran maps that brick say, their carry).... is astounding. " What shifting balance are you talking? Am I the only person who doesn't see any major map boss differences after 0.3.1? |

" The idea of POE was supposed to be an absolutely brutal gut-wrenching experience. It's a walk in the park. It's even easier than POE 1, cheaper to get zoomy, 100x cheaper to explode 1-2 screens in every direction with one click, etc etc. For like 10d my deadeye was blowing things up like a 200d build in POE 1... the game is so painfully easy it's a full blown bait and switch. That said, post 0.3.1 my FPS tanked hard, and I went from totally fine to dying constanlty in chuggy fps -- I just can't see when FPS is in the 20's, and that wasn't a thing until this patch. Ryzen 5 5600, Nvidia 4060 -- should be fine. |
