This was the worst update in the short history of Path of Exile II

The real problem to me is the NEED to "juice" to such an extreme at all.

I preferred the previous system as I hate the notion that I need to kill a boss each and every time and liked the variety of maps and didn't mind the fact that not every map would be the best of the best sir, with honors.

You don't need to juice anything. You certainly shouldn't be spending the obscene amount of currency streamers told you to in order to run a map.

Alch and go, if you can't, get good. In a nice way.
if there would be no perceived 'NEED' to juice content we would still have 0.3 towers. They just replace the leg work with massive gear check, while nerfing loot/map sustain for anyone not doing the juicing

No, they nerfed bad builds by making them actually engage in combat. Now they rip and get no loot. This is good. Screw bad builds that can't do six mods or fight bosses.

Just to start, now I look at my atlas and all I see is a bland pasta with cream sauce.

And the bosses, ohhh the bosses...

Good luck to anyone in high levels (above 95) that now need to face every boss in game even if he doesn't want it. Risking his xp that at this point is really, really hard to get, just to complete the map.
And now he has to level with a gun in his head ready to trigger at any moment with a bad luck in a boss fight.

I will be honest, I hate everything in this update.

You took a lot of quality of life accumulated with past updates and flushed down the toilet and even now I don't understand why.

I leveled to 96 the day before the patch, I am still 0% into 96 and I play daily, for hours. I didn't sign up to play Boss Of Exile 2. I loved the game before this, I never wanted to stop playing, I had so much momentum. Now, it is just because I don't really have other games i'm interested in right now and I keep hoping for them to reverse the patch, or at least fix the boss issue. Why every stinkin' map? Why?? It just feels so discouraging, I try to keep my hopes up every day, and just map and play. I have rebuilt my build, swapped around gear, I still clear the (now) boring maps with ease for the most part. Don't get me started on the abysses popping up and stopping me from moving.

But bosses... I can get lucky maybe 3/5 maps and that's being generous. The solution given to me for bosses? Lower the Atlas tier of map boss. Why? When before, I could easily just play any map with full tower buffs and earn money. Could mess around with builds and still succeed.

I have played an inordinate amount of hours in an inordinate amount of games over the years, this is the worst patch I have ever experienced in a game that just sucked the life and joy out of the fun I was having. Why, for the few elite to be happy?

Not to mention, the game servers just crashed (me and 3 others in discord from different areas, all had PoE crash at the exact same time so it was the game).. and I lost a citadel, my tablets, and waystone. My friends lost their maps too.

What's more disheartening to me, is that nobody is responding to any post in any forum or anywhere about the state of their game. Is it fall break for y'all too?
i wanna see dev stream how they kill citadels bosses now, its 100times harder then others ubers on max diff
Case and point, the person before me. Dying, has no solution but to complain.

I ripped today on +4 Geonor, and then I respecc'd. Changed my ailments because bosses have the right amount of health and my complete lack of ailment threshold fell down.

Bad builds complain. Good builds adjust.

Again, if the content is too hard for you, maybe do some napkin math and ignore the streamers.

Because you're dying too much. That's why.

It is a good thing if only a few people in the game can beat the most difficult content.
SSF Rise of the Abyssal Ice Strike Invoker, high survivability and fast clear speed. Deprioritize armor and resistances; prioritize crafting a weapon and faster start of ES recharge. Build is shown at level 47, end of Act 3. It tore through Act 3 like butter.
