Guess what? Next league probably "Delve" which also copy from POE1. Yeah they are just improvising POE1 into better graphics as POE2. They don't even have transmog code in their game which is kinda absurd.

It wasn't originally 2 games, they just finally split it off because of how limiting the old engine was. It was always meant to be just a better PoE1.

they don't even acknowledge mouse wheel as input here. hopefully they can work out how to integrate ctr+a into their copy-pasta workflow. it will save them a lot of dev time.
