Headhunter - Change teleport ability

It screwed me over in citadel. I was doing a breach and I guess a breach mob got summoned inside a boss room and it teleported me right on top of the boss and I was not prepared as I have to switch gems for bossing. Absolutely horrible lol

I feel like it's left in as a balance tool since wild teleportations can send you straight to death. Running juiced T15s can be a real slog when you want to move in a certain path, collect items, attack particular enemies and you get sent into ground effect that wipes you out. Beyond that how teleporting works with human interaction vs AI interaction isn't the greatest. You need to reasses your plan in a single frame. The enemy AI reacts instantly. Depending on your build this is make or break for a map. Kills the fun.
Beyond that a good reason to remove it, ir at least allow us to toggle it, the visual. My god is it hard on the eyes. Screen clearing is already a banned episode of Pokémon, adding in single frame jumps is just rough to look at. I imagine epileptic individuals avoid games like this but that kind screen flashing must be a one way ticket to seizure town. |

teleport will never get removed. people have been asking for this in poe1 for years and they dont remove it

it's annoying has hell and probably the cause of most of my death (juiced map tp in the middle of packs when i'm busy tring to pick loot, when i'm not actually tp in the midle of some random explosion :D)
HH is fun to play but this affix rly ruin it for me to the point i think i'm just gonna get rid of my belt. |

Bumping this cause i finally got my hands on a headhunter last night and that random teleporting mod is horrible, it gave me a bit of motion sickness and I play VR games regularly without issue.
Ideally it would replace the dodge roll, but if that's too much "positive" for the masochists out there, they need to at least make it animate the transition better (some streak lines between start and end point should help, along with a smoother camera transition) and have it move in the direction the player is moving towards already or facing (if they are standing still)to help reduce the disorientation. I get the desire to put a downside on all the uniques for balance, but the downside shouldn't be "Makes you want to throw up a little." |
