The insane amount of player power that belt gives, having one small downside (which isn't even really a downside if you use it correctly) isn't that much of an issue.

That mod is actually awesome for things like breach, constantly teleporting you to pack of mobs to kill without having to run around increases the profitability of it greatly.
That belt is so insanely OP, specialy with the abyss now, i really dont get you can complain of any downside...

Simply the belt is a copy-paste of POE1 and they did not even put any thought to how it should play in POE2.

They have a blind vision and this blind vision barely sees anything to even look at such an item.

Yes. GGG doesn't like aboslute power.

THis has been in POE 1 forever, they made it on purpose for POE 2, and people have been crying about it since I started YEARS ago.


There's one simple trick for shadewalker -- be strong.


Whenever I get shadewalker, I say "Fuck yeah!" and take my left hand off the keyboard and hold right click, as the game teleports me around and I blow up screen after screen while not doing anything.

Be strong and shadwalker is a buff. Free clearing. No need to use the left hand for 60 seconds. ezpz.

Play a stupid weak build with no power or defenses, and shadwalker kills you. Getting killed while teleporting from shadewalker is how the game hints to you that you lack defenses.

trying to move forward, getting teleported back, missing skills because it can spam teleport you through temple is absolute dogshit

Problem with Headhunter is that it's Headhunter.

You don't have to use it. I've never used it in all my time playing PoE.

I remember Chris making it fairly clear multiple times he regretted Headhunter. Calling it "ridiculous". This was back when PoE was still bothering to manage power fantasy. Seems they didn't learn.

Headhunter and "The vision" are entirely at odds. I don't like it because I like making builds and an item that's just so strong it's generically good for every build is stupid and defeats my purpose.

The problem is that in POE1 bosses you can actually build defenses to survive whereas POE2 bosses doesnt have that luxury per se.
just play a rare belt then?

loads of good mods and ONE bad one - the tradeoff is very clearly worth it if you build your character correctly.

if you don't just unequip/re-equip or go rare belt.
