Is it worth starting the league now? I've been playing PoE2 for like 2 weeks now and havent played PoE1 for a year or so, and I've started to miss it bad...

Miss it so much but im afraid markets and everything is dead?

POE1 is just generally awesome

Mercenaries content isnt the most engaging or fun, but the power creep is insane. You will definitely enjoy the blasting.

Secrets of the Atlas expansion is interesting, and the 16.5 maps are great.

Yes, the economy is stagnant, but I don't know why that is really a negative? You can still earn plenty of divs to make your build, just farm something still in use (harvest juice, scarabs) or farm straight currency (sanctum, harbinger)

You wouldn't be missing out on much if you just waited until the next league. It was fun enough for a bit, but I don't know if the new content was all the compelling. You'll have to get to endgame to really find out if you'll appreciate it or not.

Trade market is very small now.

Worth to start and play, Imo late game mapping is booring and its not the same as poe1 where you can mod maps as you want, here its different and drops are rare even with 300-400% drop.
Another thing which devs should fix is number of revives, many stats brings zero revives and lead to lose the map at very beginning due to one shot mechanics. Atleast drops should be reworked, in poe1 was the stat Currency and really worked but here doesn't, so repeating maps with high stats and getting zero divs its just dissapointing and bad.

I just came from PoE2 and I'm guessing thats what you are reffering to. I never died cus i have 100+ div invested.

I just made it to maps in PoE 1 after a year and I can confidently say that PoE2 is undercooked and late game with towers etc is BAD, PoE2 only have 3-4 viable ENDGAME builds, build variety is non existent and maps are too big for the speed that we are getting, they overcomplicate a game that is so good when its simple...
