Who came up with Pluderer's Point?

First, I want to say that Plundrer's Point is good introduction to the Expedition node mechanic in the endgame. Good. Nice. Very considerate of you guys.

HOWEVER the absolute baboon behind the idea to make it a one-off event whether you die or don't needs to stay away from making final decisions before releasing an update. Forever.

You die, boom. Gone. The effort you put on searching for the map pieces are wasted. You don't even get to experience the fulfillment of mowing down hordes of monsters then plundering the rewards you dug up.

I can agree that it's to be a one-off thing AFTER COMPLETING IT AND ACTUALLY GETTING THE REWARD YOU DESERVE

Who thought it'd be a good idea to just shove in new players who aren't aware of this mechanic and out right punish them by giving them nothing with no way of letting them try again to make them realize their mistake??

You can literally just make them re-do the quest by making them gather the map pieces again. It's really not that hard if you use 1% of your brain. WOW, NOT SO HARD TO COME UP WITH! ONLY TOOK ME 0.1sec OF USING MY BRAIN BECAUSE APPARENTLY IT WOULD TAKE A GENIUS TO COME UP WITH COUNTERMEASURES FOR YOU GUYS.

This is the best definition of what poor game design looks like. You don't give the players to learn from their mistakes when the campaign is literally made for you to LEARN THE GAME. All the bullshit random one-shot death, rage inducing shit are to be refrained until the endgame as it should be.

Whoever greenlighted this needs to go back as an embryo because they clearly lack the critical thinking skills to be making the final decisions before releasing an update.

It's both baffling and depressing on how stupid you guys are. Like come on guys, is this really that hard to come up with? or are you guys just lazy that you copy-pasted this map from a random endgame node from a previous league? Do better.

You literally learn in the campaign, that you can do that once. How else would they learn, that's it's a one-off event? But good job on contradicting yourself, nonetheless.

Ah yes, another dumbass who doesn't even know what he's saying.

Yes, endgame map nodes are one-off events. No, we can't play those nodes ever again. But do you know how we can do other/similar nodes? We farm, reforge them, or trade for them.

With Plunderer's Point, one death makes everything gone. PERMANENTLY. So, what's teaching them here? That you're a dumbass for trying something you didn't knew that we didn't even warned or told you anything about and because some random mob one-shot you(happens way often in endgame even if your equipment is elon musk account tier stacked btw), you deserve nothing, don't even try again, un-install? Are you alright in the head??? Might as well just don't play this game if that's the case then.

Players shouldn't be punished for making a mistake/misjudging a quest and then get permanently shut-off from it. You just make them do the entire quest and search for the map pieces again. Like how when we failed a map node. Farm for another waystone and search for a similar node again.

The irony of you calling him a name despite YOU'RE the one failing the mechanic.

That's not even a big deal.

I agree with OP, its stupid, finally an interesting game mechanic and game just slaps you if you dare to play it. Its not a good presentation to new players to PoE.

Bro, are ok? Do you not understand how shit that mechanic is?? You die and you're not allowed to try again. I get if it's an endgame node. But it's literally in a CAMPAIGN.

Yeah but you're the one calling people names hence irony.

YOU'RE the one who failed the mechanic.

Ah so you're just another dumbass that doesn't even understand the problem here.

Also i'm calling him a dumbass because he doesn't understand the fundamental problem here. Me being a little quirky dummy that got one-shot by a random mob then failing the quest doesn't matter here.

It's the fact that you don't have any way of being able to retry the quest. Endgame still lets you try again. Though not the same node but you can still find a similar one to try again. This one is permanent unless you start a new character and do the entire questline from act 1 all over again.
Hey you're the one who failed the mechanic not I dunno why you keep calling people names.
