TEMPORAL CHAINS and CHILLED GROUND is NOT FUN

This chilled ground slow magnitude is completely insane. It's also impossible to dodge since it feels like 90% of the map is covered in it.

Very very unfun, as it seems like there's so little counterplay to it (can't dodge, and it's so difficult to scale reduced potency of slows), and it just makes the mapping experience unbearably slow. And it's also wild feeling like you have to change your build because of how devastating a single slowing effect is to your experience with the game. Please scale difficulty some other way, GGG. This misses the mark completely.

It also completely negates sprint as a way to navigate the large maps easier. At least Temp Chains can be dodged during combat and doesn't permaslow you during traversal.

Chilled ground on the other hand is a pretty annoying mechanic cause I dont think anyone even bothers to avoid it since its everywhere

Title.

I know you guys want to make the game hard, but perma slows aren't fun, no one wants to fight slow motion, I suggest you put your efforts towards other things when it comes to difficulty.

I don't care for it either. It's anti-fun like you say, and I stopped doing maps that have it on it.

Personally, I think they should just scrap the mod. But letting us reforge Tier 15 + waystones might would help too. At least then I could turn them into something else.

Little bit off-topic but in the same vein - I have like 50% reduced effect of slows on my character and chilled ground isn't too annoying to handle.

Temporal Bubble and temporal chains on the other hand... It actually feels like my slow reduction does absolutely nothing. I can't notice a difference in speccing into it or not, maybe it's just r e a l l y slow to begin with or something but damn, at least give me some way to deal with it that doesn't take 30 skill points rather than suffer through it.

I tried the same thing and wasn't impressed with the results either. I couldn't even tell the reductions were doing anything. lol

You might need to use your eyes, its literally on the signature

And if you are referring to poe1, i never played that game, its sounds very bad based on what its fans want to turn poe2 into

The change with curses made them fine for me. I used to delete all maps with temp chains now I just run them. Chilled ground is the new temp chains though. :D I chaos the chilled ground maps once and if its not removed I vendor the map, whatever you get infinite maps in end game anyway.
Hate both of them, but I do not want them removed or reworked. I need something to complain about because the rest of the game is perfect :)

Maybe create a charm that can remove a curse.
Maybe create a modifier on boots, to be immune to chilled ground.

Minions cant dodge it. Temporal chain is cancer and I'll never run a map with that mod on it, it's instant listing on trade or vendor.

Here is a guide :

You can't see this when you're playing melee and everything is grouped up around you. So again, this is just another example of the horrendous balance in poe 2. I'm enjoying the season, though.
