XP gain in the campaign

Hard to tell. If those 1-2% can generate enough income for GGG then it's perfectly fine to tailor whole game just for them. There are too many easy games for casual players but only a few with actual challenge.

Yes is about finding good sweet spot for that. IF free Immortal can make money why not PoE2?
The problem (for me) is how good potential has this game (beautiful graphics, music, animation, effect) and how aggressive/frustrated play game is after crossing specific point ....
For me the biggest enjoyment in ARPG is End Game, full collection paragons point, a lot gears...so I love experiment with my invited gears...even if they only for fan.
They will never achieve perfection from Diablo 3 End Game....

Funny, I consider D3 endgame insanely boring. To me the most fun us campaign, slow start and developing of my characters. I don't like doing the same maps on autopilot over and over again. If I could I'll stay in campaign until lvl 100.

D3 has the best META system from all ARPG games. End game in multiplayer is masterpiece trough Greater Rift (which btw doesn`t exists in PoE2)
D3 had also the best balance gears - you could enjoy many different builds - not like in PoE2: everybody plays one.
Many people wait for REMASTERED D3...

This is something I would like as well. They could cater to both the mappers and the campaigners by giving us options.

So I made it through the campaign except for the last boss(es) who outheal my damage

It took me about 60hrs and I am lvl 68 - averaging 1 level every 53 minutes
I died 45 times (I was shocked to see that number, too).
I know I've died to the Viper about 10 times but every other boss I got on the first or second try.
Meaning for most of those deaths I had to redo at least part of an area again. Also I went through an area twice if I had missed an objective.
Wich should have contributed to levels gained

Compared to PoE1:
It takes me about 20hrs for the campaign in which I try to get to as high a level as possible, that being around lvl 72-75
Average roughly 15 minutes per level.

I believe this is part of the reason people say PoE2 feels like a slog

Imho they should increase the XP gain. I would like to finish the PoE2 campaign with at least as many levels as I can get in PoE1 and with that many deaths it should be on the higher (lvl 75+) side

tldr: more XP pls

Why do you people even expect to play games and die 0 times. Okay, you died 45 times.. so what? Who gives a shit. You know how many times I died on my first Sekiro or Elden Ring run? A lot. 45 is rookie numbers. You CAN play this gsme better (id know, im on hcsff) and get through the campaign while dying 0 times.

But really though - who gives a shit? Dying means the game has stakes and punishes bad play. Which makes it fun and rewarding to play. Yet you people treat it like it's a problem, very weird behavior that makes zero sense. "I want to be all powerful and all knowing and never be at risk of any sort of failure while I play the game". Okay, have fun with that experience. I certainly won't.

You misunderstood my point. My point was: in light of this many deaths and therefore redoing areas I should have been a higher level by the end.

I wasn't complaining about me dying. As a matter of fact I was shocked about the 45 times because it did not feel that I had died that much
