I have the same issue and from what I can tell all of us hit the rate limit on the account from cloudflare which is 50 request per 24 hours with a sliding window meaning there's not a specific hour where you would get unlocked, you make 5 requests now and 5 requests in 1 hour, each of them expire after 24 hours since you made them and they get taken out of your total (which so far is over 50).
Every 'Activate Live Search' press is 1 request. Honestly I think it's ridiculous and it's a ridiculously low number since every time a connection fails it's also another request and it tries for around 5 times i think. I have 20 live searches active and every time i open my browser they open and they get bugged most of the time and i have to refresh them -> 20 requests + another 20 requests from reloading => 40 requests, i have 10 more presses of the active live search button and i'm locked for the next 24 hours. Ridiculous! |

Previously, the official allowed a maximum of 20 online searches, but now that you have allowed 20, you have directly disabled your account's search permission, which seems a bit problematic,.
If only ten are given, then a notice should be issued to explain it, instead of the current one size fits all approach. At the same time, I felt that this time it was blocked by the marketplace script,. GGG probably doesn't have the ability to solve it temporarily, so we'll take this measure first, I guess. |

You have a maximum of 20 concurrent live searches.
You have a maximum of 50 live searches attempts over 24 hours! Meaning that if you change your mind on a filter (e.g. raise price, change stat filters etc.) 50 times over 24 hours you're going to be blocked! The maximum attempts is the actual issue! " This issue started today only and for many people, the issue is most likely coming from GGG's side because if that was the case it wouldn't appear suddenly today for everyone. The Live Search has been broken and malfunctioning for a long time now to begin with, items would show up when searched manually but not on live search very often, for some reason it's a feature they implemented but is not being maintained well in comparison to other aspects of the game even though it's almost essential now with the introduction of the new trading system because items disappear so quickly that you can't get decent prices on anything anymore without live search. |
