I think it's intended. You can reforge the map into higher tiers. If you still haven't enough map => trade.
2ex the normal T15 is painfull but that's the game.
Yes I expect its intended as well, but realistically the cost is too high.
I was running T5 map and only had 2 waystones, but I need the T6 for the next Nexus. I would have to buy 9 T4s at 6k gold each to reforge to a T6. In the end for 5ex and about 10k gold I bought 6 white t6's from trade. It should be cheaper to buy from Doryani.
Ha, i didn't get trouble with early mapping. I guess you did it, but early atlas point go into waystone sustain. And you can skip tiers as soon you're able to clear higher tiers maps (if it ask a T6 for corruption but you are able to run T8, just set a T8 in it).
