"Undying Hate" Timeless Jewel disappeared after 4th Preserved Cranium use.

Just had the same problem, in game absolutely no indication that it can destroy the item... 6 hours of farm to garbage :/

I LOST MY undying Hate too , tribute to tecrod... I lost it after i put my third desecration on it. Hope Ill be able to get a refund or something because that really sucks...

i agree this is utter bullshit .. for the first time ever i finally got a timeless jewel and i read up on it that its unstable but nothing is said anywhere that it will make the item explode and vanish.. utter BS .. never in my life have i seen junk like this in a pc game. really stupid. way to ruin my bloody day

It's marked in the description:
"Can be Desecrated 4 Times. Desecration makes the item unstable." There's no other meanings to "unstable" (in the game where equipment has no durability), than "it could break". But probably descriptions should be more clear with this part. Overall it makes perfect sense: you can have super cool jewel and put even more effects on it but at risk of gamble and losing it all. |

We have to confirm to replace a rune on equipments, but not for this on a 9 div item, what logic ?

That's not a bug — it's written right there in the description. I accidentally destroyed one of my jewels because I didn’t realize what it actually meant. Honestly, it’s really bad design to use that text color; it made me think it was just lore or flavor text instead of an important gameplay warning. |
