Blasphemy

I just experienced this bug at level 83 on my lich. The only curse I'm running is Despair. I thought maybe the bug had started when I leveled the gem up to 17, so I consumed a lvl 16 gem and socketed despair (only) in that one. My skills started working again in both weapon sets so I tried allocating my pets. I had insufficient spirit to summon them all so I added quality to blasphemy 16. The bug returned.

Weapon set 1 is wand (with +3 all spell skills) and a scepter in off hand. I have 163int with this set, but only set 1 fails to activate. Weapon set 2 is a staff and I have 130 int with that one. Somehow set 2 activates it but set 1 does not.

This might be related to having unlearned "Zone of Control" in order to spend some weapon set skill points.

Same happened to me, very annoying.

Update:

After spending 30+ minutes fiddling with this, I opened up the extended stats window on blasphemy. When I selected Despair, both boxes at the bottom were checked. I unchecked them and checked them again after weapon swapping a couple of times and the aura started working again!

EDIT: But now it doesn't work on weapon set 2. FML.
At least set 1 is where I spend 90% of my time.

Okay. It looks the issue really is the weapon sets toggling off by itself. Can't get it working consistently. The moment you checkbox for weapon set 1 or 2 and slotting in gems, spirit doesn't go down; aura doesn't work

Another update: I was fine with only weapon set 1 working and managed to clear a couple more maps. As soon as I died, and restarted at checkpoint in a T14 map, blasphemy stopped working in both weapon sets again.
This is awful.

Oh and while we're talking about blasphemy: Heightened curse is increasing the cost of non curses slotted into it, such as vitality and cannibalism

I'm making a similar post myself about this with my id code, but a fix I've gotten to work atm is just making a whole new Blasphemy. Not a great fix, but it might help get builds back on track (running a chaos fire witch is a little hard without auto Despair).

My issue started when i went in areas past lvl 60.

in anything under it works. past 60 nada.

now i have leveled both of them Blasphemy/Temporal chains to 16 and it seem to have helped.
not sure for how long tho.

Same thing still, blasphemy with 4 sockets, doesn't take any spirit with any curses inserted. Manually check both weapon sets, weapon swap and they uncheck themselves. Same attributes, enough spirit in both sets. Can't get blasphemy to work
