Sprint (seperate keybind + toggle sprint option)

Please, please, please make it that sprint binds to a seperate key, it is massively awkward to have dodge roll and sprint on one key.

also please make it an option to toggle sprint so i dont get carpal tunnel syndrome.

+1 on this. Toggle sprint option is a feature in most modern games that have sprint, so I think they'll eventually add it.

Also please make sprint less clunky: instead of making sprint get stuck on anything, just make the character "slide" on walls and obstables, it's just better there's no reason to make this clunky on purpose.

Before there was time between weapon set swapping, now there isn't because you realized it was clunky, making sprint not have ages of recovery time, get stuck on every thing and having a fall to the ground animation that lasts 5 seconds is all extra clunk for no reason.
I agree with the separate keybind for Sprint. I don't mind the starting animation or the stuns if I get hit while sprinting. My issue with it is during fights, especially boss fights, the sprint mechanic will inadvertently trigger when I just want to dodge roll effectively killing me. A sprint toggle or option to just turn it off would be helpful.
I agree. Was the first thing I thought when I saw Johnathan mention it and the first thing I felt when playing. Games are not just gameplay but immersion and rolling before spring is just awkward and weird. I can only assume it was done for casuals/controller, but please allow the option to bind sprint to a separate key.

i want to put the sprint on shift + dodge button.
Since i got to the endgame doing waystones, the game has become very bad for me, and just cause of the accidental sprint that occurs way more then they should after trying to dodge.

i am losing almost every map where i try to dodge/roll, and die cause of unwanted sprinting. I hope sprinting can be added to another key, or a option added to fully disable sprinting. the mechanic was good as it was before, sprinting should be a bonus not a way to die more cause of unwanted behavior.

I hope more people feel the same, so the developers might consider changing this a little, thank you for reading.
Throwing in a "me too" for both.

At least give us an option to separate it from dodge for those that want it. The amount of times I've died because I was only trying to spam dodge roll is starting to get silly.
But it would be too unrealistic this way. Did you ever try to run without rolling first? It's physically impossible to do.
