Async trading and ignore list.
I hope it would respect my ignore list settings and wont allow people I had on ignore to interact with my hideout/my items.
also we saw people making a mess in streamers towns, would there be a way to prevent this from happening in our hideouts? Sometimes I just alt-tab and taking a nap, would really piss me off if someone would start goblin troop disco when I'm asleep. Last bumped on Aug 29, 2025, 11:09:53 AM

Why would it respect your ignore list? They aren't whispering you at all.

" I knew my other post was a bad idea. :D If there is a problem with people remaining in your hideout, there will probably be a way to fix it. I can see them simply allowing you to create a new zone instance of the hideout |

Also need a way to block entire region.
Less scams and better trading experience. |

why does this even matter?

" You're right that they won't be whispering me, but they'll still be coming to my hideout, which doesn't feel right. However, that's not my main concern. My main issue is about fairness: when I ignore price fixers (which is currently our only way to get some revenge against them for ruining the trade experience), they can't buy from my regular tabs because they can't whisper me. It seems only fair that the new pay-to-win tabs should work the same way and also respect the ignore list. |

yea I agree. I don't want anyone on my ignore list having access to my items, and I don't want their currency.

" Price fixing is going to be much more difficult now. There is a gold cost to purchasing, meaning AH flippers are required to map. I'm not entirely certain about the PoE 2 market, but in PoE 1 many flippers don't even level past Act 1. There is also going to be significantly more items for sale. It's hard to quantify it, because you:
#3 is the hardest to quantify. Previously, I would only list an item if it was worth the time trading. Now I will list an item if it is worth the time listing. Not everyone has as many stash tabs as me and many have significantly more. |

Regardless of the entire "not wanting to trade ____ person" angle, there's definitely one reason why GGG should absolutely make ignore lists apply to merchant trading: the trade is done in the seller's hideout.
Which means that it gives literally everyone access to the seller's hideout. Players who have had to ignore other players due to harassment etc will now (potentially) have no possible means of keeping those players out of their hideout, other than to avoid using the merchant system altogether. And there's quite a few avenues for griefing that a motivated bad actor can do, once they've gained access to your hideout. |
