It works outside of the game through DLSS/FSR APIs, basically translating one to the other. Online games I think they mean by competitive games, like CS, LoL, Dota 2, Marvel Rivals etc. Po2 is not a competitive game.

To be fair POE does not have official support for DLSS4 either (Nvidias latest upscaling).

I hope that we can get some reply from GGG if this allowed.
I specially bought new card for poe 2, and Im hitting myself for not reading this post earlier.

Also, maybe there's a way to make FSR/DLSS not apply to skill effects? Bcs skills looks REALLY bad with FSR. This type of upscaling is really good at applying AA or rendering the game in a lower resolution without losing a lot of fidelity, but it makes skills look extremely blurry for some reason, even at native resolution
