Never rely on devs for testing. That's why you have QA and user tests. Devs look at things differently. They don't test similar to a normal user, non-dev.

This isn't just true for PoE2 or GGG. Even in my work, as much as our dev team try to do their best, we never rely on devs to say everything is good and balance.

Never ask the same dev to test his work and rely on his approval.
